Glad to see this place in our neck of the woods! We don't have many options for Southern/Soul Food around here.
We loved just about everything, except for the waffle which felt overpriced for what it was. I would've expected two for the price and because the menu item is plural. The fish was super delicious--crisp and well-seasoned, I drank the likker from the greens--so good. My kid loved the cheesy Mac and glazed sweet potatoes.

Everything I've ordered has been phenomenal. I love this place. it's good down home comfort soul food and worth a try. I love the chicken, oxtails are fall off the bone tender and seasoned to perfection. I was pleasantly surprised by the mean greens soul egg rolls. Delicious!! give this place a try you will not be disappointed.

Not very good, especially for the price point. $60 for unseasoned fish, rubbery sausage in the red beans and rice - nasty consistency and also unseasoned, cheese grits- guess what? Unseasoned. Mac and cheese tasted spoiled and unseasoned. Very disappointed. Not sure what all the rave is about. This isnt soul food

The greens here are so good, tender, & flavorful. The Mac and cheese is packed with cheese and flavor, the cornbread is soft & moist, the fish is perfectly seasoned and cooked and the hush puppies are to die for.

I'm so happy I found this place. I've been craving some real soul food and this place hit ALL the spots. I ordered the 6 piece wing plate with the sweet potatoes and the mac and cheese. OMG. Soooo good. I also ordered the greens egg rolls. I did not know how I was going to like them but they were so good. I had dreams about those egg rolls. and the peach cobbler was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. Yes I will be back.
