Wok Express at Maryland Heights started the business since 1989. It won the Trophy of TOP 100 Healthy Restaurant on the 2008 around the overall Chinese restaurant in United States.
The Deluxe Fried Rice is the best Ive had. The Crab Rangoon (6 pcs) were absolutely perfect. The General Tso's Chicken (Spicy) was very flavorful and 8/10. The Honey Chicken had a great flavor too! 9/10. Definitely can't wait to try more on the menu. Portions were 10/10. Chefs kiss!

Wok Express is truly the best. Hunan Chicken was spicy and hot. Plain Rice is fabulous with lots of egg. Egg-Drop Soup is piping hot and thick with just the right amount of peas and carrots. We have been eating here for over 10 years and have never had a bad meal. Did I mention that the portions are huge? Enough leftover for lunch the next day. We will definitely order again.

Shrimp Broccoli was good. 6 large shrimp were tasty. white sauce was good.Cashew Chicken I got the combo and was very disappointed. This is a chicken dish but it had beef sauce on it. (?!!) Also as you can see from the pic, 2/3 of the combo was bland fried rice. Dish did not taste good at all. There were 2 seriously overcooked wontons with what literally could only be described as a PINCH of pork in each-not even 1/8 of a tsp. Threw entire combo out. Wonton Soup with Chicken and Shrimp looked promising but the broth was anemic, almost no flavor.Fried Scallop (4 pcs) were nice and tender, tasted good. Canned Soda was missing. I will not be ordering here again.

General tso's was plentiful and tasted great. Awesome egg rolls. The fried wontons were terrible. I threw them away :( zero filling. Just a smear of something brown? Super strange. I thought they would be akin to crab rangoons as they are elsewhere.

10/10. food was piping hot, generous portions for the $ which is so rare these days, they packaged it well (like poking holes in Fried Donuts (10 pcs) so condensation doesn't build, and it all tasted really good.
