Never knew this amazing Sushi place was down the street. Shrimp Tempura was excellent, fried rice was perfect. Not too salty. It was a very light brown almost white color.. so I was concerned but it was sooo flavorful!l I order from here twice a week.
Only thing I hate is that the Yum Yum sauce is a dollar for a tiny little container. So I always end up spending six dollars on sauce

We ordered several sushi rolls from Yama Sushi for the first time tonight. That included a Tiger Roll, Maryland Roll, Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll, Shrimp Tempura Roll, Sweet Potato Roll and a California Roll. Everything was absolutely delicious and very fresh. The regular rolls were a great value and the chef special roll we got was very filling. They also make it very easy to modify anything to your liking-- we made a few changes/added an extra ingredient or sauce to a few rolls and everything was perfect. Packaging was also very good and everything arrived well wrapped with no leakage or spills. Worth the money, this will be a new favorite take out place for us!

I have eaten at all the sushi restaurants in Columbia and Elliott City and this is BY FAR the BEST! Ingredients are fresh and presentation is excellent. Got the Party Tray E (Vegetable Lover) and it was topped with real flower. Gorgeous and tasty. I got a new fav place now :).

The Columbia Roll that's topped with pine nuts and has a spiciness to it, is absolutely divine! Crazy Shrimp Roll is what I'd recommend to friends who are need of a "cooked sushi roll". Vegetable Fried Rice will be added to every single order forever. The vegetables were fresh with the right amount of crunch. This is my first of many Yama Sushi orders.

Didn't get any chicken with my chicken udon. It tasted just blah. The prices were also quite outrageous. For $10 I got a tsp each of fish egg sitting on top of pieces of cucumber. Did this place get new owners? I dont remember it being so bad before.
