The Vegan Gumbo Bowl was so fresh and flavorful. It really filled me up too. Perfect for this cold weather. I also ordered the Fried Rice Bowl and it was packed with flavor. They called me to make sure I was okay with egg in my bowl since I am vegan. That's so thoughtful. I'm going to support this family restaurant and much as possible.

Don't know how far you came and in 5:00 traffic but worth the wait. Food excellent. Packaged with care. Loved the cornbread which I don't even like or eat ! Would give 5 stars instead of 4 1/2 but pudding needs to be a double layer serving ! Excellent chicken no little pieces. Tastes like home all around !

Sweet potato had great flavor. Mac and cheese was good, the breading on the tenders was too thick for me, made it mushy. But tenders tasted ok.
Fried Banana Pudding Bites (3) OMG so rich So good. I'm too full to try the Baddie Banana Pudding.
Cornbread was good but too expensive for a 2x2 square.

This is the best soul food I have ever eaten! So good! I laughed because I ordered two kinds of pasta, but I had to try the Baked Mac n Cheese. Holy cow was it good! First bite had me slappin' my momma. The Cornbread and jalapeno corn is to die for, and Cajun Spiced Chicken Pasta...there are no words. Will definitely order from here again.

The food was great! The Smoked Chopped Brisket Burger tasted great. The toasted bun added a great touch. The meat was just a little fatty. The Fried Rice Bowl was amazing! 11/10 no complaints- perfect seasoning. The Baddie Banana Pudding is was resulted in the -1 star. The cookies were crunchy but the flavor was there. All in all I'd order from here again.
