We've eaten at the Yummy Crab a few times now - dining in and w DoorDash - and we absolutely LOVE IT!! Great place to dine alone or with a large group - they can accommodate just about anything. We've been as a group of 3 and with friends as a group of 12.
Dining in - there is no fishy smell whatsoever as soon as you walk in. Decor is light and refreshing. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful in recommendations.
Everything we've tried has been a hit. Calamari was not rubbery or overcooked. Catfish is spectacular and again, totally not fishy at all. Shrimp are large and flavorful. Onion rings are so light and crispy. Hush puppies are SO yummy and the sauce they serve with them is fabulous and the fried mushroom are wonderful as well.
The only thing we found only slightly disappointing were the sweet potato fries because they were only moderately hot, rather limp and not crispy at all - still tasted good but compared with everything else we've tried they were "meh".
DoorDash - We were surprised that everything was still HOT HOT HOT when it reached us. Had the catfish and shrimp basket with onion rings and a side of calamari. Everything was as great as previously experienced.
Not greasy at all however you choose to order from them.
One of the neatest things about this location is the robot waiter! We saw another party be served with it but we didn't, even as a group. Maybe we'll get lucky one of these days though!
However you choose to enjoy the Yummy Crab you'll hopefully not be disappointed.

The A7 Dungeness Crab (1 Lb) with Cajun was delicious, and perfectly seasoned and spiced. The A1 Clams (1/2 lb) with garlic butter were also wonderful. Definitely will buy again when a seafood craving kicks in.

I had the Fried Mushrooms, but it was a little disappointing. Batter was plain & the mushrooms were a little soggy.
The Crab Cake (2) were really good! dl They were differently from any others I've had. Each crab cake was half of a 3" ball.

Insanely delicious. They included a plastic bib, gloves, wipes - everything needed for a perfect comfort meal. Delicious and definitely recommend. The crab was spectacular

Well my green muscles were delicious and surprisingly came with a tiny pearl! (that i chomped down on in my face stuffing rush)
So good food and possibly free pearls!!!!
