Everything here is fresh and made to order. This is my favorite go to in Evanston/Skokie. The Stuffed Grape Leaves are amazing. Definitely a great value with their many options.

Food actually tasted delicious. The seasoning was fantastic. But after taxes, a $16 chicken bowl is ridiculous when my meal arrived with 3 pieces of chicken. 3? Seriously guys?
At least add enough meat to make the meal worth paying $16.

There are many things I love from - and about - Zad's. The food remains reasonably priced during these inflationary times and the quantity of food per order is generous. The quality of the food is also excellent: I often order the chicken shawarma because it is always delicious, and I love that I can choose my sides, typically the flavorful vegetable stew and mejadera. Tonight I also added a large order of hummus (the best in the area, IMHO) and baba ghanouj, as well as a side of falafel balls. We feasted and will do it again tomorrow! Finally, I appreciate the kindness the owners show their employees and their customers, and am especially glad to patronize Zad's accordingly.

Love Live Love Zad!!! Always delicious and generous portions . You can tell the food is fresh and of great quality. Management goes above and beyond to make sure our experience is top notch. This is my go to restaurant for fast, fresh and healthy food!
