Very good Double Down Pizza, cooked thoroughly and delicious 😋🤤 stuffed crust is the best!

let me start by saying we've had Zeppe's DoorDashed before, and everything was great. But this time, I decided to get a smaller pizza, that was under cooked and a bit of a mess in the box, and spend $15 on a Bavarian Pretzel . My Dasher let me know they no longer carried it, so they subbed a big chocolate chip cookie? So I went from an app to a desert, that seemed on the burnt side. We ate 4 little pieces of a 9" pizza (about 12 bites of food), and the rest was tossed away. Even tried to crisp the pizza up, but it was so thin and soggy it wouldn't work. I could even overlook that, sometimes a pizza just doesn't cook right, and really it was one "off" pizza after years of good ones. But getting the Bavarian Pretzel replaced with a cookie, when it could have been wings or anything else, really seems like it was because it was the item with the next largest profit margin. 2 days later and it's still on the menu

The pizza sauce almost tasted bitter and it was like eating leather once we got to the crust. The wings were good texture/con but they had no gatlic flavor at all. The salad was wilted. For the price, I expected way better quality.

The soda was $3.50 for only 20oz. I expected a 2 liter for that price. Disappointed.

Pizza arrived cold and undercooked. Door Dash offred a $5 credit. Historically, the pizza has been very good but this order was pretty off putting and the resolution was very underwhelming. Unlikely to order from establishment again.
