• 5/9/22fantastic! I worried grilled corn meant boiled corn slathered in mayo but this is genuinely grilled and the seasoning is perfect. tastes like it's just off a grill. the queso isn't bad either - I went for the mild, so I can't speak of the spicier varietals. Shrimp and steak cooked awesomely in my soft tacos. Excellent food overall - a little spice but willing to pull back, definitely willing to go full fledged spice.

Sol is a very decent restaurant and has pretty tasty food. I eat there maybe once or twice a month.
I ordered the chipotle shrimp and grits, roasted sweet potatoes, and red chili beef enchiladas. The enchiladas were really good as always. The Chipotle shrimp and grits were not as good, sadly. First off, I would not call them grits. It was almost as if they took the grits and pureed them, added a little water and other ingredients, and made a type of bisque. The flavors were alright. The shrimp were blackened and well cooked. The flavors matched very well with the grit bisque. The roasted sweet potatoes were good as well, but the sauce that was drizzled over them were a little too different. I see where they were trying to go, but.... meh.

• 2/7/22Have been ordering this dish regularly for a long time and it's always delicious but this last time they gave us the tiniest sliver of avocado.

• 5/26/24Left out my tortillas, and no sour cream, pico, or guacamole. Surf and turf came with 5 pieces of shrimp and 7 slices of steak. Really not worth the $30+ dollars for the surf and Surf & Turf Fajitas

• 2/8/24Let me start with saying I like SOL, a lot. Today was a huge disappointment. Got the SOL salad, they forgot dressing, only 7 bites of veges & I added grilled shrimp.Paid $11.25 for the shrimp alone. How many you ask? Six tiny ones! Guess I'll go eat with my fingers now. No fork either. Do better!
