"I've been coming here for years since an otherwise bad date introduced me. The pupusas are delicious, large, & filling yet I always forget, get excited, & order way more than I can eat. I don't know what sorcery they do to make that coleslaw downright addictive. I tried the fried plantains with cream and beans for the first time and it has absolutely no right to taste that good being so simple. Whatever is in that cream elevates the plantains to something extraordinary. Even their beans are incredible. After a week of not eating due to oral surgery, this meal was so comforting and joyful. Highly recommend."
"Fried Yucca is delicious tasted like potato and I love the anchovies on top too. The curtido is good, vinegary. Wish the extra avocado would have been more filled. Salsa tastes like tomato sauce and not spicy at all but I liked it because tomatoes are my fav food."

"Oh emm geee!!! This Pho was exactly what we needed! Both of us are down with respiratory crud, and needed some healing food. Boy did we get it! The Pho Chicken had so much chicken! I added the Hoisin and Sriracha sauce, and completely cleared my sinuses! The Mushroom Pho was perfect for the hubby! He absolutely loved it! Thank you for helping us heal!! Ten out of ten!"
"I am definitely no stranger to pho real, literally been a customer since day 1 for both rebrands. Prices have increased, but it seems quality along with quality check have not improved. But to have two pieces of meat folded up in a leaky bag of myoglobin is WILD for $26. An increase in price should be accompanied with an increase in presentation "

"Bacon Burrito was perfect.l, stuffed with lots of bacon and egg and cheese. very large burrito! chips and queso Large chips and queso (16oz.) is perfect and if you can't eat it all, it's perfectly reheatable!"
"I took a chance and ordered from Lina's because they were the only restaurant open late at night, I work overnight so there's usually no options other than gas station foods. Being someone who enjoys a good Mexican dish, I do have my favorite dishes and a good chimichanga is definitely at the top of the list. Price seemed fair, looked like some good stuff with it, so I ordered the #20 with a side of chips and queso. Let me tell ya! This this was enormous! perfectly cooked, great flavor, flakey shell, just all around fantastic!! the Queso was a pleasant surprise also, I usually only expect some good cheese with some type of Pico or other flavors mixed in, nothing to fancy as it's just a side cooked for the masses. let me tell ya, I was wrong on that one too. when I opened the little bowl the cheese was still warm and gooey, not hard or crusting over, really good flavor in the cheese and actually a little spicy like it's got chilies instead of Pico. So very good all the way around! I will definitely be ordering again and look forward to trying something new next time."

"Everyone was saying how the birria is the greatest in the city, so my expectations were high. The (3)Quesabirria plate's consummé was mostly fat, barely any broth which made it bland. "Best Burrito California ive had in a long time! Theres even cheese grilled on the outside. The Vaso de Elote / Corn in a Cup is a large portion & has tons of cheese. The green salsa is mild & tangy & delish. Will def order again."
"Pros:
good presentation, food, and packaged wise.
The red salsa was good!
my dasher actually followed my instructions.
Cons:
I asked for no dairy on all 3 of my gorditas. They did good on 2 of them except the 3rd one. It looks delicious, but I can't have cheese. Luckily, i'm not allergic to dairy, so I was able to get away with it by peeling back the melted cheese that was on the inside of the gordita. However, that took away some of the delicious red sauce of the pork and cactus gordita.
Also, i would happily trade the cost of the paper bag and cute sticker that says to "snap and share" for more salsa. Just stick the sauces inside the to go box, like the rest of the mexican taco trucks.
Just ok: the birria has nice texture and juicy, but they could've added consome on the side to give it more flavor. However, it's fair to mention that they did not promise that when ordering so I did know ahead of time.
Overall: 3/5."

"never disappoints. i love the Wildcat Energy and Full Order of Biscuits and Gravy. I've always loved both! "
"the Snickers Bar Latte was awesome per usual, it was still warm when it was delivered and was true to size and flavor. Tuscan Turkey Panini was good, I paid extra to add tomatoes but didnt get much so I don't feel like that was worth the extra charge. I did request the kettle chips instead of the chips and salsa but they still sent me chips and salsa - the chips are average, the salsa is pretty much tomato paste with some flavor."

"Our first time ordering from Bar Nico and we were impressed. We ordered Campechano Tacos, Sweet Potato Tacos, Grilled Elote, Guacamole, and Flan Antigua. They were all well seasoned, delicious, generous portions, presented well, and arrived still very warm and fresh through door dash. We will definitely order from Bar Nico again soon."
"I was SO impressed!! Sometimes with delivery food might arrive and not be as good, but everything arrived in perfect condition, no items missing, and even cutlery for both of us. The food was SO GOOD. Delicious. I would highly recommend the papas bravas and the sweet potato tacos. Even the guacamole was excellent, the chips were perfectly salty and fresh. And do yourself a favor and order the Puerto Rican Cheesecake. My god. What a delight. I'm from out of town but would come back just for a repeat of this meal."

"This is my favorite Pho place in the city! Ive tried all of the Pho places that ive heard of in the Des Moines Area. Tonight I ordered a new dish to try the Beef in a Leaf/ Rice. It was very tasty, I was said I wasnt getting Pho but the restaurant included a small soup size of pho broth with my order so that made up for it! A must try!"
"The portions at Pho Viet are legit. You definitely won’t leave hungry. The pho bowls are packed, and there’s a good balance of noodles, meat, and broth. Honestly feels like you’re getting your money’s worth every time. Perfect if you’re super hungry—or want some leftovers for later."

"This is the best Indian food in town. Not only is the food made fresh and with love, the customer service is exceptional. I placed a catering order for my company event recently and not only the owner gave a great pricing, they offered to set it up for free. Awesome family owned business. This is my goto spot for great fresh food."
"food came nicely and warm. However, quantity/portion has gone down since they first opened. flavour wasn't truly there for the food. Overall was a disappointed meal.
Goat Curry was very small for such a price. Asked to get extra spicy. Doesn't seem to be any different.
Paneer Tikka was extremely dry. The Paneer was like rubber. Non sponginess that you get from typical paneer. They were burnt. Green pepper weren't. very small portion for such price point.
Mango Lassi was good as always.
Naan was a mess. some burnt worse than other. about 50% of the 2 naans were just crunchy like crackers... what!!!
Tandoori Roti was moist and good."

"If you're looking to fill your fruit servings of the day you're at the right place. My order has almost always been accurate and the fruit tastes fresh. It's definitely overpriced for a small bowl but filling enough if you use it as your lunch meal. I like the amount of options for toppings, plenty to choose from."
