"First time trying this place, thought it was going to be decent, but I was surprised at how delicious it is. I got Special Qabuli Palaw, Mantu, and the Special Juice Mix. I'll also say I was surprised how big everything is, lately most places have been reducing the size of portions, but this was quite a bit of food. No idea what's in the juice mix, might just be all their other juices mixed together, all I know is it's delicious. The sauce stuff on the Mantu is insanely good, and the meat in the Special Qabuli Palaw is also crazy good, it also had these little things that look kinda like beans, from the picture I thought they would be raisins or something, no idea what they actually are, but they're delicious. Honestly all around I couldn't recommend this place more, a lot of places these days are just "good", but this place was absolutely amazing, and considering it was delivery and I didn't eat it fresh there, it surprises me even more."

"Upon the arrival of the Famous Greek soup: Avgolemono, I was so overjoyed. The chicken, rice and eggs were blended perfectly and it was still warm 😋 The Pita Bread accompanied the soup absolutely 💯% perfectly 👌 it was fulfilling and flavorful. The Gyro Plate which I chose lamb/beef combination was generously loaded with rice Pilaf, salad and Pita Bread. I ate just part of it and saving the rest for tomorrow's dinner. "Choose any other Afghan restaurant for better food. Look how pathetically sparse that 2. Lamb Tikka Kebab serving is. It's even blander than it looks. The 18. Chicken Curry had a quarter inch of grease on top? Just a pure oily sheen millimeters deep. Stuck a piece of bread in it and it picked up only grease. I wont eat that dish. Also very small portion of chicken in it relative to all other places in town. The 19. Mantu pieces were plump but room temperature and the sauce more Russian than Afghan, full of sour cream and dill flavors. The 21. Bolani was fine but a smaller serving than most places and only 1 sauce for it which tasted like day old grass clippings. Humus was the only ample serving but seemed to be just blended chickpeas with jarred olives tossed in. No seasoning or character. There are great afghan options on doordash. This is the only one I advise avoiding entirely. All others do everything better."
