The Spicy Cole Slaw was fresh and good, but far from spicy and not one peanut. The beans were good. We used to eat at the Armadillo's in Santa Clara that closed and we're so excited to read all about Empire claiming to have the same standards as Armadillo Willeys. I paid a lot of money for my order and will never patronize Empire again. Sashimi Hand Roll | One of Each was awful. the fish portion inside each one is honestly so disappointing. it's not a standard sashimi portion it's literally the thinnest slice of fish. so you basically pay 7 dollars for rice and seaweed. the seaweed was not crunchy or tasty, it seemed old and everything was extremely disappointing. my wife had the salmon, it was bland. the Korean steak dish is the only thing anyone got that seemed half way decent. the quality and price don't add up."

"The Cheese Fries had a good amount of cheese on them. I appreciated the fact that they made sure the cheese was distributed throughout the fries rather than just on the top. The fries were surprisingly crunchy once they arrived instead of soggy like so many other places.
The Mushr Cheesesteakoom is HUGE! So, you definitely get what you paid for. I didn't get a good picture of it but it was almost as long and as wide as my 40 oz tumbler. It is messy though and the packaging was soaked with greese. The meat was good but not all that flavorful. It could use a little more seasoning. I paid extra for extra cheese and they didn't disappoint. So many places charge you extra for more cheese and half the time you can barely even find it. Not the case here. And if you aren't a crazy cheese person, like me, then you probably would be fine with regular cheese. This thing was loaded and I couldn't be happier.
I will definitely try them again. The food tasted fresh, I didn't find gristle (in what I did eat...half of the sammich was way more than I needed) and the portion sizes were great. I usually pay the same price for a tiny cheesesteak, so value wise this place does it up."
