The curry sauce is good, the umami is there, but there's a slight sour/tart(?) taste that I don't quite care for. However, paired with the croquette and cabbage is just soooo delicious!

"So the taste of the Deep Fried Gyoza was good, they steam in the box a bit but the edges are crunchy. The Spicy Garlic Beef Pepper Rice spice rating for someone who likes heat it's a medium level, but if you are sensitive it will be hot. My low rating is because the beef was inedible. It was chewy and stringy and grainy in texture. It was cut against the grain which made it harder to eat and there were like stringy tendons or whatever all throughout it. The portion was big but I gagged on it and spit it out. I wouldn't order beef again. The rice itself tasted good. It has the smoky char taste from how it's cooked. The Deep Fried Gyoza were definitely freshly fried upon order and in good oil not old. The Dr Pepper was good. Larger than I expected."

The Grilled Whole Squid / ヤリイカ姿焼き タレ/塩 was $16, I was expecting what you find in most other restaurants that sell grilled this dish: a decently sized grilled whole squid. What I got was the squid that I cut up for customers to use for rockcod bait on the boat that I work on ... and those go for $8 for a 1lb BOX. Pathetically small, honestly feels like a scam.
Similarly, the skewers ranged from $9 to $14.50 for 2pc. They are super tiny. Another skewer place I ordered from the other day sold 3pc skewers for half the price and double the portion. To add insult to injury, I didn't even get anything fancy: chicken liver (another thing that I use for bait while fishing and is CHEAP), chicken thigh, beef tongue (probably the "fanciest").
Will not be ordering from here again. "

"Disappointing experience. The poke bowl was absolutely drenched in sauce. Whoever assembled it was extremely heavy handed with the sauce. The rice and everything else in the bowl was completely flooded.
I ordered a mix of shrimp and tuna, but the portion of seafood was surprisingly small. Everything was so covered in sauce that I could barely tell the difference between the tiny shrimp particles and tuna or taste the ingredients themselves.
Also, if you are ordering through DoorDash, be aware that the menu prices appear to be higher than when ordering delivery directly from the restaurant. I wish the pricing and additional charges were itemized and disclosed more clearly, especially for DashPass members.
