"I've long been interested in trying this place, but I've always been hesitant because I can never figure out how exactly to order from one of these crab boil places. If anyone else is having the same experience: put your mind at ease. We had a combo with snow crab, shrimp and sausage in the pier 88 sauce w/extra garlic and garlic butter and it was a messy, delicious feast. Definitely look at the various options for substitutions bc they let you customize a lot. It's also quite a good value as you get a large portion. My gf and I split that combo and couldn't quite finish it all between the two of us. Absolutely will be going again and trying other items soon."
"Very disappointed. I have dined in and ordered delivery before and always happy but this time it seemed like I ordered cajun sausages with a bit of seafood. Literally just all sausages and very few small shrimps and 3 legs of crabs thats almost ni meat inside. I used to love this place but today was a disappointment."

"In the desert we need a soul food option. Was looking forward to my order from My Momma's Louisiana Soulfood. Big disappointment. Fried chicken was mediocre fired wings. Paired with frozen zig zag fires. Mac & cheese was burnt. And my gumbo was canceled due to "out of stock." Collared greens were on point, perhaps a bit more vinegar next time.
This organization is not serious about soulfood. It's a side hustle. A dream perhaps. Which I appreciate. But, seriously, either do it or don't do it. Do better. You have a unique opportunity here. No one else is doing soulfood. I miss Brenda's Cajun cooking from SF! Do that here, and you'll be golden!
