"I dont know if it's the "Tuesday" chef, but everything I got was mediocre at best.
I usually get the Ultimate Fish and Chips, and I'm always excited to see that big piece of fish, but it just was not good. The batter, which is usually light and crispy, was thick and chewy, the inside of the batter where the fish is was just uncooked. The batter was like a thick piece of fabric. It came off the fish in one piece and FOLDED. The batter pulled away from the fish as soon as I cut it. The fish inside was fine. I ate that on its own. Can I also say that while we got a couple of little containers of tartar sauce for the fish, they were only halfway filled. Not enough for the fish.
The Shepherds Pie, which is usually pretty good, was a bit tinny, very metallic in taste. For the price of this dish, it was not done well—as well as I have had it here in the past.
Buffalo wings were good. No problem there.
Salad was good as well.
All in all, for spending over $100 for dinner, I don't think I got my money's worth.
I'll be taking a break from you, St Stephen's Green. I'm very disappointed.

"I got a Guinness steakpie and it had big hunks of slimy fat (34). I also ordered the the salmon plate ($36.40) that was about the size of a kid's serving. Both came with mashed potato's missing the promised gravy on all orders. Then to add insult to injury they included a DoorDash price mark up of over 20%! I don't like being taken by unscrupulous restaurants. I won't order here again and suggest you use caution with this restaurant! "

"I was lucky enough to stumble upon this place last night and it was two for one. I got the Spaghetti, Fettuccine or Penne spaghetti with bolognese sauce with Italian sausage for an extra $6. This was by far the best Italian delivery that I have ever had. They even threw in some fresh sourdough bread with a side of garlic butter. the portions were big enough that it turned into four meals. Unfortunately I am moving, but I hope to find this place another time hopefully in San Mateo. I added Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes that are requested on calling. the gentleman that answered the phone spoke English without an accident was articulate, efficient, energetic, and polite. "I found Jack's in Newark when I was working up that way, and I loved it. I was excited to see we were getting one in San Jose. Better yet, the food has been just as good at this one.

I am used to having it from another place where you can basically cut the steak with your fork. The crust was ok but it was totally bland. I am pretty sure it's just a frozen piece of chicken fried steak that they just fry up when it's ordered. The Country Gravy was the best part. It wasn't all that flavorful either but out of the entire meal it had the most flavor and was decent. The eggs were cooked well and the hashbrowns were undercooked. We ordered a side of Pork Sausage and they were both good at all. I gave one to my dog and he wouldn't even eat it, so that should tell you something. Honestly, if I crave Chicken Fried Steak I have a go to and I will stick with them. The other place is a lot more but it's actually a quality meal. You get what you pay for here. "The B33. Red Guava Crema uses guava syrup rather than real fruit. I’m glad I ordered 0% sugar because the syrup makes it plenty sweet already. However, the ice wasn’t blended well; I kept hitting ice chunks the size of boba pearls. The Hong Kong Style Red Bean Ice had the same issue with the ice texture and was a bit too sugary since the sweetness isn't adjustable.
