• 5/10/24The Stir Fried Seafood & Vegetables were excellent. A generous serving of nicely stir-fried broccoli, other veggies, and a variety of white-meat seafoods. They were all tender and succulent. The white rice was just the dish to complement the seafood, and it also was nicely prepared.

• 12/26/22It's just great food with fresh ingredients & tasty! Everytime we get food from here it's always with the freshest ingredients.. you can taste that their prawns are really fresh and they always have fresh vegetables with no wilted ones in any of their dishes. For example, a lot of places make Yeung Chow Rice with a simple frozen mix of peas & carrots or something, but Cafe Gloucester uses fresh chopped vegetables in theirs. Their curry dishes are delicious with a nice thick savoury slightly sweet and very mildly spiced curry (and they all come with plain white rice to go ontop of). Their pastas are also good, although they're not usually our go-to here, we've tried a few of them and they're tasty as well (although they do have some corn and carrots in their bacon mushroom penne which was surprising for us, but it didn't bother us or ruin the dish at all). Definitely a great place to try, the portion sizes are suitable for the price but it's just the tasty food with fresh ingredients that keeps us coming back.

• 12/9/22It taste like what really good HK style food should taste. We had a hankering for the Baked Pork Chop with Rice in Tomato Sauce and it was indeed delicious with lots of pork chops and gooey sauce on top of fried rice. The 68. House Special Chow Mein had lots of bbq pork, chicken, fish, squid, mushrooms and choy on top of crispy egg noodles that soaked up all the yummy sauce. The star was the 47. Curry Beef Brisket that had lots of beef and tasty curry. Two of us ate lots and there's left overs for tomorrow and maybe a lunch or two. Will definitely order again and try some of the other HK classics.

• 5/31/24The 81. Yeung Chow Fried Rice (BBQ Pork & Shrimp) was just what I was looking for. Nicely fried, with lots of shrimp and pork. And in a generous-sized serving.

• 12/8/21the food is almost always amazing at Café Gloucester! they have high quality ingredients & almost always cook the beans just enough so that they don't get overcooked in the container during delivery. their yeung chow rice is the best I've ever had, instead of a cheap frozen mix of carrots, peas and corn, they use fresh vegetables like zucchini and have fresh eggs mixed in. the shrimp are always fresh and don't taste fishy or badly frozen (if they even are frozen, you can't tell). overall amazing food that we get all the time! 10/10
