The Sweet Croissant was quite different than I expected, more like a tart or danish than stuffed croissant. Regardless- it was INCREDIBLE! I got the fruit and ricotta, so fresh and delightful.
The Breakfast Quesadilla was filling and delicious. Beans and cheese, delicious spices. I added homemade sausage which was worth the extra money.

Now, normally I love ordering from here. The desserts are almost always dependable but the size of the Quinoa Bowl and the fact that it was missing roasted vegetables, mixed greens AND had a tiny amount of chicken was quite upsetting--ESPECIALLY for $16.50. I will NOT be ordering non-pastry items from them again.
Lastly, as a big fan of cinnamon rolls, I was disappointed with the size. It's so small. Everything else (the croissant, smoothie and banana bread) was good.
Please do better.

Everything at L'Acajou bakery is amazing IMO, but my favorite things are: the Parisian Breakfast Sandwich (so so tasty and my energy lasts all day!), ham and cheese croissant, chocolate brownie (very dense and chewy and yet it has a mellow milk chocolate flavor which I love!), lemon bar (perfect balance of tangy and sweetness - more on the tangy side, just the way I like it) and cinnamon roll (lots of spice and great fine and moist texture). Kudos to the bakers! This place is habit forming for sure!

The first time I ordered the mocha it was blended, sweet, and perfect. This one not so much - not sweet, not blended in fact there were "ice rocks" in it. The salad was not made to my specifications, had almost no avocado and scant dressing - not like the one before. And the French toast - 2 orders - were 100% French bread loaf end pieces which was unexpected and I didn't care for at all. They were prepared well but... wth! The lemon ricotta was tasty but no homemade blackberry jam. It's disappointing when you have 2 very different experiences in 2 orders and speaks to quality control. For example. This never happens with the Fish King or Angelines.

The mushroom potpie was great. Kind of spicy, which was nice but not spicy-hot. But the Sautéed Broccoli with Garlic, Chili, & Lemon was in the tiniest Chinese to-go box you could imagine. Like the size of a lemon. It just wasn't much broccoli for $5. I wouldnt order it again. Everything else was a good portion size.
