Staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Blackened Chicken Pasta was not presented as expected from menu. Chicken was seasoned well and flavorful; however, portion of chicken was less than a half chicken breast within a large container of pasta. Pasta was bland. The peppers and onions tasted uncooked, as if they were straight out of freezer bag. Pasta was bowtie, not penne in menu photo. Side Fries was overseasoned in seasoning salt. Order was not worth the price.

I wanted some Cajun food to celebrate Mardi Gras and Ragin Cajun had the best menu so I decided to try it. Everything was delicious!! Who Dat Catfish was phenomenal! The catfish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and so fresh tasting. I was glad I ordered an extra piece of catfish! The Side Crawfish Étouffée was the best I've had in many years and made a perfect topping on the Who dat catfish. The Side Red Beans and rice was perfectly seasoned with a generous portion of authentic Cajun sausage in it. I will definitely order from here again!!

I can't recommend ordering from here. The Crawfish Etouffee felt like a rip off. The portion was tiny for $23 and the taste was just okay. The Slaw tasted good and the portion was large, maybe larger than it needed to be. I'd rather have a smaller portion of Slaw and more of my entree. The 1 Fried Catfish Filet was good. Very juicy, large, and well seasoned. However, the Side Bread was so crunchy that it might as well be a crouton.
I just can't recommend Ragin Cajun. I feel ripped off. For $50 worth of food for 2 people (without appetizers or anything, mind you) I would expect more.

Bread Pudding was great! the Blackened Chicken Pasta tasted okay. it was a Alfredo with bowties. I didn't get the Cajon flavors as I expected and it was garnished with uncooked peppers. Crawfish Queso is the main reason I can't give this place 4 or 5 stars. 15$ and I have yet to find a crawfish tail in it. you can get white cheese dip for half that price from a Mexican restaurant.
