The food is 10/10! I specifically loveee the wings especially when I request that they are fried hard. The yams are good too. Lastly I don't eat potato salad from everyone but the color of it gravitated me to it because it's not usual that a restaurant gets the yellow in color (lol) & it taste great! I am never disappointed. Thank you!

Mac: came in seperate container. Mac is MID. 4.7/10. Taste good. Just regular good. NYC dont really know how to prepare mac
Yam: came in a seperate container. Stuffed to the brim. Yams taste like they were HAND MASHED. 8/10
Fish: flavored and crispy. 6.9/10
Price: ehh,.. worth it. 6/10

I ordered fish and wing meals. Both were excellent. Sides of potato salad and collards were exceptionally good. The potato salad was the best other than my own. Lemon and chocolate/butter cakes were good. In sum the meals and delivery were excellent. I have loved Maxine for a long time and delivery via Doordash made it possible to order and receive. I will be ordering again real soon.

The food was hot asf as soon as I touched the bag I almost burned myself that's how I know my food is amazing and I appreciate the freshness of the Candied Yams and French Fries. I also ordered stew chicken definitely worth the wait. Delicious food

This has become my go to for comfort food! The fish is perfectly fried without being greasy and the collard greens have such a great flavor! Love love love this place!
