• 2/6/24The Barcote's Fish Goulash was absolutely delicious! I'm always hesitant to order seafood for delivery, but this traveled well and the flavor was incredible. The Extra Injera was also amazing - some of the best injera bread I've had.

• 2/18/26The Vegetarian Combo was so savory and fresh. The portion was plentiful and left me fully satisfied. I will be ordering again soon. They really have one of the best Vegetarian Samosa which compliment the combo well or can be eaten anytime as the perfect little snack.

• 4/22/26I ordered the Meat Combo with extra injera and honestly I was really disappointed. I’ve had Ethiopian food before and it’s usually very flavorful and spicy, which I love, so I even called the restaurant and asked them to make it spicy. The person who answered said it was already spicy, but it really wasn’t.
The food tasted kind of sweet and lacked salt and flavor overall. The injera also tasted off. I understand it’s supposed to be slightly sour, but this one felt different, almost like it wasn’t fresh.
The meat combo itself was $27.45, and for that price, the portion was not worth it. I expected much better quality and quantity.
Also, the packaging was really bad — by the time my food arrived, the oil had leaked everywhere and made a big mess in the bag.
I hope they improve and prepare the food according to how customers request, especially since Ethiopian food is known for its bold and spicy flavors. Overall, this was not a good experience for me and I won’t be ordering from here again.

• 11/28/23For $20, they give you very little injera bread. The food is great but they are pretty stingy when i comes to the bread. We had to use regular slices of bread.

• 3/3/23Absolutely delicious every time! Shrimp and chicken tibs are always scrumptious. Great flavors and good portions. Samosas and Injera are also tasty. My favorite Ethiopian food spot!
