disappointed in chicken pot pie too too salty however had big chunks of tender chicken. Too small a piece of chocolate cake for the price

the chicken strips were small and tough to chew, and the broccoli tasted like it was bad so I couldnt eat it.

I grew up eating at this place and sometimes I like to go back for nostalgia. The food here was pretty good and scratched that itch! Their food has definitely gotten too peppery so I'll probably eat here even less than I used to since I don't tolerate black pepper well. But the quality was right on. Buttermilk Biscuits were SO fluffy and so perfect I almost cried. Chicken was truly tender and not dry. Dumplins were just as I remembered them. If it wasn't for the pepper this would have been the ideal treat.

The Cheeseburger was delicious and way bigger than I expected. My mom thought the Chicken Pot Pie was delicious and huge, she saved half for her next meal.

The sampler let me try different sides and taste some mains as well. The country ham was salty and tough. Meatloaf was good. Chicken and dumplings were kind of bland - salt and pepper helped with that. Mash and brown gravy were on point Pinto beans and green beans were good - they had a salty meat flavor to them. Peach tea was a bit too sweet so I added water to mine and it was better.
