A trip to Gus's is a must when you're in Memphis! The chicken is cooked to perfection, nice and juicy with a slightly spicy breading. Since there were five of us we got the 16 Piece Snack and medium sized Baked Beans, Slaw, Potato Salad, Macaroni and Cheese , and Collard Greens, plus the Chocolate Chess Pie (Whole). We're all full and have enough left over to snack on tomorrow! The food is delicious, you will not be disappointed!

I work at a hospital. I can't just leave when I'd like, so I ordered a three (3) piece white chicken combo. I got a stale, overcooked two (2) piece in my delivery, with a tablespoon full of baked beans. I suggest they start taping the boxes shut and double checking before they do that.

I have lived here in Memphis for almost 2 years now. I have heard great things about Gus Chicken. Let me tell ya, the chicken was juicy with a spicy flavor. I normally have to use hot sauce. Well this time, I didn't have any. Come to find out, you don't need any kind of sauce. I wouldn't recommend if you are not a spicy or flavorful type of person. And the fries/mac and cheese was delicious. The fries could have been seasoned a lil more. Overall, I enjoyed my food. It was delivered fast.

chicken was very juicy with a crispy skin that clearly had just a little touch of cayenne pepper in breading to give it a nice light spice. both the coleslaw and potato salad were delicious but needed just a pinch of salt and pepper for my taste. macaroni and cheese was also very good. I would rate the meal better than KFC and Popeyes.

Got the 3 Piece Dark Plate with baked beans and Mac. Let's get into it.. The portion size is great I'm little so there's enough food for 2 separate meals for me. The chicken is seasoned to perfection crispy and it has a nice kick to it 10/10. The baked beans are the perfect balance of sweet and savory 8/10. The Mac was overall creamy and delicious could use a little more seasoning but a good 8/10. I would definitely order again.
