This is what Jamaican food should taste like! The Oxtail Entrée had just the right amount of spice, the portion of meat was great and tnder, and the rice was fantastic alone. The Chi Soupcken was delicious.

Waste of money
Bland food with a very unpleasant smell, not to mention the messy packaging.
Not appealing to open a tray of food with everything mixed up together.
Chicken did not taste and meat was not "fresh".... reheated... maybe!

Not gd the oxtail was tough not fall off the bone or tenderize the cabbage was tasteless disgusting and hard and then I had a large it was like five oxtails in there for $30. They charged way too much and the plate is only worth $10.

This was my first time trying Caribbean food. I really liked the jerk chicken. Even though I ordered a "small," the portion size was more than enough. The chicken was tender and very flavorful. It might be a bit spicy for those who are more sensitive.

I would order Green Banana with Ackee almost daily but they became lazy and wouldn't drain the food. Rarely enough peppers. Ackee would sit in a container filled with juices which drained the taste. Please consider getting Ackee and Saltfish from GoodLife Cuisine. They even include 4 fluffy fried dumplings with the Ackee whereas Island Spice makes you pay $1 per dumpling (& sometimes they are overfried).
