I ordered some caldo de res because I was craving something hearty and delicious. This caldo definitely hit the spot! I got the smallest one and it was a big serving with ample meat and veggies. It even came with a side of rice and tortillas and cilanto y limón. All it needed was a little extra salt and it was perfect!

So bland. The enchilada was good, but the sauce had very little flavor. The burrito was pretty mid and the tamale may have been the most bland I've ever had. The rice and beans were good and everything was packaged very well. Did not come with chips and salsa which is a shame for a $30 entree.

Food is a bit bland but good quality and quantity (they give salsa and chips with the order). I got the chile verde Large Burrito and it had a lot of fillings. However, the chile verde didn't have a lot of flavor of the chile verde sauce. The salsas were tasty though and helped with adding flavor.

I always loved La Milpa dishes. However the Taco Salad I ordered was very disappointing. I picked beef. The beef had a funny taste as if no spice was used to cook it to take away the gamy taste or smell. No spice was used at all. The diced tomatoes were stale and tasted off. The bottom shell was soggy with the juice from beef which had gamy taste and smell. Every taco salad I ever had before from other places had a layer of beans and rice at the bottom and then meat and lettuce, etc. Not this one.
Mexican foods are always prepared with great spices. Not this one. 
Probably you have changed your chef.

Overpriced and under seasoned. Unfortunately, I won't be going back and will be sticking to my go-to spots since day one. Authentic?
I guess some people who leave these 5 star reviews just don't know authentic.
Fresh Chunky Salsa was lacking cilantro and flavor, and salsa is important to serving authentic Mexican food. If the salsa or refried beans ain't good ✌️enchilada sauce was bland, no flavor. Rice was about the only thing that was ok.
$4.95 for a single can of coke with a Christmas label in March is not even cool.
