cant go wrong!! always fresh, best sushi in san Joaquin. have been going to mihana since Matsuyama opened in manteca and have tried every roll, truely can not go wrong my personal favorite is the kings roll and i enjoy the fresh taste of the matsuyama roll. also try the mushrooms!

Rolls are really heavy on the rice. They come out looking incredibly huge but it's 60% rice. The rice ends up becoming a foundation for the roll to sit upon.
Aside from having a ton of sauce on everything, there's no variation to flavor or structure.
Shrimp tempura inside is hard and chewy and tastes a lot like the Kirkland frozen Shrimp Tempura. Like it's not even from JFC's frozen lineup, which is pretty good for frozen. The unagi on top of the Large Dragon and Millionaire rolls were very little. It's missing the fluffy charred meat that the best part of having unagi. Then the tuna on the Princess roll was only on half of the roll with an uneven cut compared to the unagi next to it.
It's definitely American-style. But rather expensive for huge rolls of rice.
There is nothing wrong with the *quality* of the ingredients themselves (except for the tempura shrimp). It is simply the construction of the rolls themselves are lacking in variation and needs less rice.

The two rainbow rolls I ordered were mainly just rice with VERYYY thin slices of fish on top. I used to order frequently here but quality is definitely different now. I get that everything is expensive, but this is a complete rip off..

the 4. Beef Teriyaki Udon was ok definitely not worth 16$ the Fire Dragon Roll was way to hot and I couldn't eat but one part for someone who enjoys spicy this was to spicy..for me this was definitely not worth it
