I've ordered the Potato Tostones many times over the past few years and it's one of my favorites. Today was my first time ordering after the new location of MBB opened up and while the overall flavor was still great, sadly my potatoes were in a pool of oil that went all the way through the paper and the container. They were also not crispy, which is one of the aspects that make these potatoes really a standout for me. I also got the Japanese Egg Salad Sando and the bread was perfectly fluffy and right amount of sweetness- just like always.

I was pretty disappointed that all the hot food was placed on top of the cold sandwiches. I am not sure I will eat the fruit sandwiches for this reason. Also, the potatoes tostones were not crispy at all or hardly smashed like tostones should be. Breakfast sandos were ok, not a lot flavor and for me, there's just too much, plus it was spongy/overcooked.

Oh my LAWD. Do not hesitate, this stuff is delicious. The Potato Tostones are very shareable, and freaking delicious, it'd take me over an hour to make these myself. The Breakfast Toast is quite good, nice THICC bread (I got the one with black sesame). As you bring it to your mouth you get a little citrus scent, then it has a little kick. If you're a light eater you may want to share this one too. The Ube Cream Scone was very pretty, felt a bit soft, but I haven't tried it yet since I'm working on all this food! Really tasty, this might be my new favorite weekend breakfast spot. They had a QR code encouraging you to order direct from their site so maybe try that, looks like they're a small business!

My breakfast was amazing. The Strawberry Yuzu Cream Scone was better than grandma's biscuits and my The Lox no bagel on their super flavorful barley bee pollen sourdough was the best lox sandwich I've had in the bay. I will be ordering more bakery items soon
