• 8/3/23Absolutely the most skillfully made authentic Puerto Rican food made with heart. It is reliably made well and balanced; unlike some other Puerto Rican food in Phoenix one cannot be sure if its going to be over-cooked or over-seasoned. Not so at Phoenix Coqui; always always excellent.
PS Oh and be sure to indulge in the small but perfect portion of Flan ; one of Puerto Rico's world renowned desserts and my personal favorite.

• 6/16/26My aunt is from Ponce, so I eaten a lot of Pernil Plate in my life. This did not disappoint at all. It was like I was at her kitchen table. Amarillos were delicious too. I mix them together. I get the sweet and salty thing going on. Flan I was worried about at 1st. The other day I got flan delivered. It was in the same kind of container. I was like No, Please let this be good. 1000000% Amazing, it is creamy and just as delicious as all the other food. Oh and they hook up the amount, this was multiple meals for me.
Thank you for giving me a little bit of home.

• 12/10/25Oh my GOD!!!!!! Lemme tell you how I was just transported back to the island. The crunch of the empanada, the taste of fresh arroz con gandules, that taste like my grandmother is back there cooking! Empanadillas De Pollo w fresh chicken!!!! Amazing!
The Pernil Plate is sooooo good. Nice portion size. Impressed NYRican here! Gracias! Hats off to the chef!!!!! We will be back!!!!

• 12/15/23I have never had Puerto Rican food before, but boy, am I glad I gave it a try! The Combinación Costillas Deshuesadas was amazing! The sauce on the meat was so delicious & the rice was yummy. Even the fries were good & I'm not a fan of fries. And the portion size was enough for 2 meals. The Empanadilla De Setas was phenomenal, so much mushroom flavor! I will definitely be ordering from here again.

• 1/11/25Excellent food does exist among mediocre garbage restaurants everywhere! my Empanadillas Meal was delicious and I will absolutely be ordering from Phoenix Coqui again! the empanadillas were larger than I expected and well worth the cost of the meal alone.
