This has been a good restaurant for over 20 years. I enjoyed the 蛋湯 Egg Drop Soup with the special packaged crispy chow mein as well as the c雞炒飯 Chicken Fried Rice which was hardy enough for four meals.

5 stars. Taipei Express is the best. Always on point. Especially crisp veggies too. Large portions. Amazing. . 炒芥蘭 Sautéed Broccoli with garlic sauce. A staple, been around for years, restaurant in all of Charlotte.

本樓炒飯 Special Fried Rice with egg and carrots added is a great dinner. I always have some leftover for the next day. Tastes great.

Kon-Bo Chicken was maybe 20% chicken 80% water chestnut. See the images I attached below.
The fried rice boxes weren't even filled up all 3 were only 80% filled up.
The scallion chicken was a 10/10 and the general tso's chicken tasted great but the container was 1/2 full.

The Chicken 蒸雞 Chicken Steamer is the best. it's light, fresh with loads of vegetables and chicken. Get it with the chicken broth for a healthy meal and you'll have plenty enough for a second meal.
