• 6/16/23Ordered the fries with garlic sauce, I'm never going back to ketchup again. Also this place gives a generous amount of meat for the price + the sauce is evenly spread throughout the shawarma. Size of the shawarma for me was about the same size as a 24oz Thermoflask (hope that helps)

• 11/12/25#9 Chicken Plate was delicious and plentiful. I opted for the pickled radishes and got more than I expected(!!)#7 Chicken Classic we ordered was also great.
Order was available at the time described and packaged well.

• 8/8/25#21 Chicken Salad Finally, a good chicken salad. So much chicken, so many vegetables, so much flavor! The chicken is cooked to perfection, still juicy, with an incredible taste that is perfectly complemented by the sauces. I have tried so many shawarma spots around the city and Uncle Sal's is by far the best.

• 3/9/23Ordered the #11 Meat & Meat Plate w/ chicken and beef. Rice was with long grain jasmine rice, so not mushy and sticky like mentioned in other reviews. But weirdly not very flavourful, despite the color. Same with the chicken which, while you got a bit of that charred grilled taste, was not seasoned particularly well. But maybe it was the beef that really threw me off – much saltier than expected. With the chicken and rice together, the beef managed to balance itself out but on its own it would be too much to have. Maybe the beef in a wrap would've been alright since you only get a few slices ? Portions were generous though and you do get a good amount of both meats (honestly it felt like I got more meat than rice, which is rare).
The #18 Fries with the garlic sauce were great, although you get the sauce just globbed on top of the fries (it's not separate). The sauce was extra garlicky for you garlic fans out there! It was (at time of writing) $8 though, which felt a bit pricey for fries.
Overall I'm glad I tried it at least once since the reviews seemed so positive. It was certainly edible but overwhelmingly...alright. For similar Middle Eastern plates, I would probably travel a bit further or go elsewhere.

• 10/19/24Food is very good. The meat is tender and not dry and vegetable is fresh. For someone who likes lamb like me. This #4 Lamb Shawarma is delicious and my husband loves the #2 Chicken Shawarma. We will order again next time.
