• 4/21/22All the makings of a San Diego hotspot. First off, I've been to a lot of sushi places in SD, LA, and SB and I can confidently say that this the hands down best sushi place of the 15+ sushi restaurants I've been to. My dad has traveled to Japan probably a dozen times over the last 10 years and he always told me the best way to judge the quality of a sushi restaurant is the wasabi and how quickly and fully it dissolves in the soy sauce - out of all the places I've been to, this is the ONLY place I've seen the wasabi dissolve in the soy sauce. Anyways, me and my girlfriend come her 1-2 times per week and have been given 5-star service by the owner and the other waiters at URBN. We are both very active do MMA, workout 3-5 times per week, and are very serious about our diets - no seed oils, processed foods, etc and we have found that URBN Sushi fits are dietary needs and is a great addition to our heavy ribeye diet. As long as we live in San Diego, this will be the only place we go to and even if I lived outside of UTC, I would drive 30-45 minutes just to have the sashimi platter with blue fin tuna and our personal favorite the Spicy Salmon Baked roll. Also, try the Tiramisu for desert! Great place for a date or if you just want to enjoy some fresh fish!

• 4/22/22Sushi is okay, not great. Ramen broths are bland and taste like instant ramen and give you one piece of meat for $17 ramen.

• 2/9/23I've ordered from here a few times now and I think this is my new favorite sushi place in the UTC area! The fish is really great quality (I'm no expert but it definitely tastes fresh!). I especially love the Super Philly and the Lemon Roll! It's midterm season at UCSD right now and I'm not going to lie, I think this sushi is what's going to get me through this lol. Thank you for the comforting, refreshing food!

• 4/10/25House salad with avocado had ZERO avocado.
