"I only discovered matcha recently and have grown to like the taste and the mood boost from the l-theanine. Starbucks has a Matcha Frappucino, but not a shake. I've had green tea ice cream in the distant past, so I decided to try Ellianos Matcha Shake. I knew the matcha would be diluted by the ice cream, so I ordered it with extra matcha and with banana as an accent. The result did taste like green tea ice cream with the banana blending in quite pleasantly. I would recommend it to someone who likes green tea ice cream. However, the matcha taste might not be strong enough for devotees of matcha, even with the extra matcha. I would order again as a dessert drink, but try another form to get a "matcha high". I've gotten SunnyBrew, Elliano's Arnold Palmer drink, 3 times in the past week as it is very refreshing in the heat and a reasonable price for the 30 oz. in today's market.
