"My normal taco place was closed, so I tried Taqueria Hernandez, and honestly? A blessing in disguise.
I ordered 4 tacos, and they were LOADED with meat. Like, aggressively generous. They put the onion and cilantro on the side, which I appreciated, and the sauces were so good even though I have no idea what they were. One was red, one was a creamy green sauce, and I trusted both of them immediately.
The Chorizo / Mexican Sausage sausage was not my favorite chorizo I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t bad. The Asada / Beef , though? Wonderful. I would absolutely fight over the last one in a group setting.
Each taco came with double tortillas, which ended up being perfect because there was so much meat that I was able to turn each taco into two tacos using the extra tortilla. So I ordered 4 tacos and somehow received 8 tacos through sheer taco engineering. Economically, spiritually, emotionally, this felt correct.
Overall, very good, very filling, and I would absolutely order again."
"The Asada / Beef burrito is amazing! The flavor of the beef is perfect. Lettuce, cheese, tomato, and avocado balance it out. Not spicy at ALL! You get to put whatever seasoning you want on it. Perfect with some tajin and lime juice. It is a bit greasy but so worth it. Real Mexican food doesn't have to be so hot your mouth burns. It's also HUGE. You get your moneys worth for sure. The coca-cola is real Mexican coke in glass bottles. Love visiting in person but love that I can get it delivered now!!"
