"We both had the BBQ with baked beans and Mac & cheese. One thing about their BBQ, you get your money's worth. The portions are large and it's very good BBQ. BUT, the real reason we ordered from them was so that we could order the Homemade Banana Pudding. It is too die for. Again, you get your money's worth because it's a huge bowl. My only complaint is that they put the pudding in the same bag as the food and the hot food melts the pudding and the whipped topping. This time the puddings were in a separate bag but by the time we got them they had been turned upside down and the bottom tin was crushed and half of one of our puddings ended up in the bottom of the bag. Salmon is always cooked to perfection. Pork belly is always tender with exquisite burnt ends. Sushi Rolls do not fall apart. Coffee is never bitter. Biscuits are never dry, and yes, they make a solid southern white gravy as well as hollandaise.
Today, we chose to try the Kimchi Fries for lunch, and I must admit, we were pleasantly surprised. I didn't anticipate that the kimchi would be roasted, but it truly enhanced the flavors in a way that was delightful. The roasting brings out a depth of flavor that’s not as noticeable otherwise. "I ordered the #8 Club Sub in a bowl. Usually, I go in the store to place my order and take it home and so far I've been completely satisfied.
Today was a different experience altogether . It was the first time I've ordered online and the difference in what I received when I went into the store and what I received from my online order was like night and day. The portion size of the salad was so much smaller in my online order and I ordered the same regular size that I normally order.
At 10:30 / 11 o'clock in the morning, you would think the lettuce would be very fresh with no dark, off-color, shreds in it, but not so.
It was also supposed to have bacon in it, and there were only a couple of very small pieces. Also, the tomatoes were very scarce as well.
So overall, I was very, very disappointed. "
