Best Meat Samosa Ive ever had.
Lot of meat filling inside.

"This Indian food is the BEST in the East Bay! The meat is super tender, the spices just right, prices fair and the quality is akin to the best in the City! Their lamb dishes taste like my mom used to make. Just unreal how good they are!"
"The chick tikka masala was good but the tandoori lamb chops were poorly packaged for $20.83 I feel as if I could have received better quality packaging trying to unwrap the foil from the flimsy paper tray my juicy lamb chops were in 2 fell out the side of the foil onto the floor to which I was left very perturbed but to sum of the experience great food poorly packaged "

"Delicious and fresh flavor! This is one of my new favorite restaurants. The portions are large and great for a family of three. 10/10 would order again. Especially the Honey Cauliflower, I was expecting it to be super sweet but it's just right. The Potato Peas Samosa's are pretty big and not too hard or soft, just the right amount of crunch, and the inside is a perfect softness, not mushy at all. The Tamarind Rice was not greasy like most places, and super fluffy! Mango Lassi is smooth with a rich yogurt flavor. And lastly the Plain Naan is the cherry on top, easy to eat and cooked just right 10/10. All alongside the amazing quality, we got pretty cool bags and even had enough for leftovers. :)"
"The Lamb Dum Biryani from Swagat is probably my favorite Biriyani in the East Bay. Generous portion, fresh, hot and it really is delicious! Have ordered multiple times, and will order again!"

"Absolutely incredible Nepalese food with a great value for what you get. One item is often enough for one person. Absolutely adore the Chilly Mo:Mo Veg or Chicken , my personal favorite off their menu, and both the Chicken Kadai and Tarka Dal were fantastic. Can't recommend this place enough, absolutely 10/10."
"Everything is so tasty and flavorful. The Lasooni Saag Paneer is absolutely delicious as is the Vegetable Korma and the Paneer Tika Masala.
If picking up, vent the pakora container so they don't steam themselves to mush and you'll be in Love too! Highly recommend this place!! Always, always Delicious! And perfect food for post dental work!!"

"I ordered the Chicken Vindaloo. When I say this is one of the best Chicken Vindaloos I've ever had to this day, I am not lying. They did not skimp on the curry sauce at all. There was plenty to dip the naan in. It was almost spilling out which I'm not complaining about because it was very well packaged to ensure there was no spillage. The chicken was cooked very well and it was very flavorful. I ordered spicy, and it was the perfect amount of spice to where you can still eat it, but cool off with mango lassi which wasn't overly sweet, and thin enough to drink. Vindaloo is not an easy dish, but I can say they have it mastered. Even the potatoes were not over cooked and it was a very generous portion size. I will be returning!"
"There's nothing like Indian food on a cold night! Chicken Tikka Masala Curry is a favorite in our house, although I prefer the creamy, tangy Chicken Makhanwala (butter chicken). The Bengan Bartha (Eggplant Curry) is probably the healthiest item we get, and it's still very satisfying. I haven't had a Vegetable Samosa in a long time because the kids always get to them first! Everyone loves the breads, especially the savory Garlic Naan.
I decided to try the Shahi Paneer (Peas & Cheese) tonight, and it's an intriguing dish: delicate in flavor, but somehow spicy-hot at the same time. The cheese curds in it are so fresh they squeak! The peas were in the rice, which came on the side. This was perfect, because we hadn't ordered extra rice. I kept going back for more servings of this dish!"

"I'm not usually one to write a review for anything, really. But I have to write this to say that I've never had this much chicken put into my butter chicken from an Indian place before.
If you're someone that cares about macros and getting enough protein, you would be very happy with the amount of chicken you get in one serving. The food tasted great also, and packaging was super clean/spill free."
"The cauliflower and potatoes dish was horrible, tasteless. The dishes are inconsistent, previous order it was covered in a tomato sauce, this time no sauce and very bland. Plus the portion size for the price is absolutely ridiculous. We had maybe 4 cauliflower florets and 5 small potatoes wedges.
The chicken tikki sauce was lumpy and lukewarm. The texture was like it sat for awhile then reheated in the microwave
Over all disappointing and will not order again."

"Absolutely loved this place! It’s family-owned and you can taste the love and care in every bite. The food was incredibly fresh, and the flavors—just wow. The chicken came with a spicy sauce that was an absolute explosion of flavor, the kind that lingers in the best way. The naan was perfectly soft and buttery, great for scooping up all the extra sauce from the generous Chicken Tikka Masala, which was rich, creamy, and easily enough to satisfy two people. This is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend! Even spoke with owners daughter to share how amazing it was! Thank you! "

"Ok. So, wasn't exoecting to really enjoy the Calcutta Chicken Hakka Noodles and the Chicken 65. Flavorful, and just spicy enough to enjoy it. Chicken Tikka Masala and naan were ok-to-good. Didn't disappoint, but didn't wow either. Overall, will definitely order from here, and probably will want to try some of their lesser known dishes. The quantity was quite generous for the price and overall, nicely packaged and presented well. "
"This was the first time we have ordered from Chandi. The food was good but lacked any spice. It would be nice if you could indicate spice level. Even the Lamb Vindaloo which is called "spicy" was more of a medium spice level. We liked the Saag Panner and the Chicken Tikka but again no option to choose a spice level. "Wow! We've had some pretty subpar Indian on Door Dash and this is by far the best Indian food I've had in a long time! I called to ask if they could make the Aloo Gobi extra spicy and it was perfect. This was very first time I ordered online however, I had dine previously and had a Paneer Tikka Masala, Malai Kofta, Daal Makhni, Maggi, Mango Lassi, Garlic Naan and everything was so delicious and fresh.
The portions are shareable.
I would love to go there again and again.
Their outdoor seating and free parking is the best thing."
"Ordered takeout from here and the food was excellent. The chicken tikka masala was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. "The delivery was on time. The food was hot, tasted very good and the amount was generous: a packed carton of rice and a full pint container of curry with excellent proportion of meat (in relation to bones and sauce). Samosas were a bit spicy and filled with mashed filling (I could only taste potatoes and spices, no peas or anything else). "

Came across curry pizza house. Read a review that the red sauce with tandoori was good. I got half tika half tandoori. It's not too heavy, kinda tasted like Indian round table. Im from Ny, no need to say more on my preference. But id order this again if I was in a ??? Mood. It definitely hit the spot. "

"Their ' SAMBHAR ' , South Indian Lentil Soup on the Side is EXQUISITE ' !!! It had quartered squash in there & roasted black mustard seeds !!! All the Chutneys were Gr8 as were the ' Vada ' ( Fried Lentil Donuts ). The ' Curried Potato Filling inside the Dosa / Crepe was good as well, but the Dosa / Savory Crepe could be more ' Brown ' to my liking.
All in All though their South Indian Vegetarian Cuisine is a ' Gift to Downtown Berkeley '. Quite Unique. Have dined in and had their Thaali combination Lunch Plate & Madras Coffee.

"Spice levels were perfect, everything was full of good flavor and seasoning, and the portions size were generous! Great service when I went to pickup. Highly recommend."
"The tiki chaat was covered in yogurt which is not advertised anywhere on their page. It's not mentioned on their website menu either. I scraped off a good chunk of these dishes because I didn't want to deal with an upset stomach from the dairy.
The entrees do not advertise they they do not include rice. Please update all of their entree categories to make this clear. I would have ordered rice if I had known I needed to.
The baingain was way too oily. I generally don't mind some excess oil from
A flavor point of view but this is too much and I ended up throwing it again
The okra and the chaat (aside from the huge pile of yogurt on top) were tasty and I will maybe order from here again if they update their page. Won't order the baingan again. "

If you're looking for an authentic Indian dining experience, look no further than Noor! From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting ambiance, combined with the aroma of rich spices, transports you straight to India.
The food was exceptional! The dishes were velvety and bursting with mouthwatering flavors. The biryani was fragrant and perfectly spiced, the decadent desserts had just the right amount of sweetness, and the presentation was beautifully executed. Every dish was cooked to perfection, using high-quality ingredients and traditional homemade techniques.
The service was equally impressive--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The staff made excellent recommendations, ensuring we had the best experience possible.
With generous portions, reasonable prices, and an unforgettable dining experience, this place is a must-visit for Indian food lovers. Can't wait to return! Highly recommend!"

"LITTI CHOKHA and Dahi Vada Chaat both were amazing. Loved the authentic taste."
"I was looking forward to the food because of all the great reviews! I ordered delivery due to recovering from a medical procedure. I wanted to treat myself because of having gone through all that.
The chicken biryani is supposed to come with a whole Cornish hen --- it literally says this on their menu. The TINY container only included a quarter of that. It was so sad-looking. I had imagined that even if they couldn't fit the whole hen, that they would maybe split it into at least two containers? I would've expected more for a menu item that cost $32. It was also supposed to include garlic raita, which was nowhere to be seen.
I also got the much-raved-about Alleppey fish & prawn curry ($34), which similarly left much to be desired. The gravy here actually didn't taste that different from the biryani's korma sauce.
Disappointed in what feels like lesser quality and care when it comes to folks who aren't able-bodied enough to eat at the restaurant. If you're ordering to-go/delivery, definitely DO NOT order the chicken biryani or the fish and prawn curry. You'll wish you saved the money/Doordash credits. I don't think I'd order from here again. "I LOVE this place. They are super friendly, quick, and reasonably priced.
My go to order is Palak Gosht and Vegetable Biryani, very spicy, and my girlfriend usually gets Chana Masala with Naan, mild.

"I recently tried the Chicken Momo lapping and Khana set at 4 Dreams Nepal I & Indian Cuisine, and it was a great experience overall.
The Chicken Momo lapping was the highlight. The momos were soft, juicy, and well stuffed with flavorful minced chicken. The “lapping” style, covered in a rich, slightly spicy sesame based sauce, added a creamy and tangy kick that made the dish stand out. The sauce was balanced not too spicy, but enough to give a nice warmth. The portion size was generous and perfect for sharing, although I could easily finish it myself because it was that good.
The Khana set felt like a complete and comforting meal. It came with rice, dal, vegetable curry, chicken curry, achar, and salad. The rice was fresh and fluffy. The dal was simple yet comforting, with a homestyle Nepali flavor. The chicken curry was tender and well cooked, with spices blended nicely without being overpowering. The achar added the perfect spicy and tangy contrast to the meal. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, just like traditional Nepali home cooking.
The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Overall, I would definitely recommend 4 Dreams Nepal I & Indian Cuisine for anyone craving authentic Nepali and Indian food, especially their Chicken Momo lapping and Khana set. I will definitely be going back again."
"The Dahl Tadka tasted like thickened grease fat from the bottom of the pan, like you would use to make buskits and gravy. It had no flavor other than fat and salt. I ordered two in hopes that it would be great, but couldn't eat either of them.
I have never had such an experience with any Indian Dahl dish before .
The soup was very tasty and the broth flavorful. I hoped to have it mild as I was recovering from surgery and was supposed to avoid spicy food. I'll order the soup again when I'm feeling better"

"The Spinach Palak Gosht and Sweet Mango Lassi were good but the lassi was super thin. Also they gave me plain naan instead of rice, and the Onion Salad was just plain white onions and tomatoes."
"One of the driest chicken kebabs ever, felt like a desert exploded in my mouth. Thankful that the portion for the kebab was small because I didn't want to eat it all. "I ordered from Chai & Co in Concord through DoorDash, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. The Fiery Zing burger arrived fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The patty was juicy, the veggies were crisp, and the spicy zing sauce delivered the perfect kick without overpowering the taste. It was delicious and super satisfying.
The Peach Refresher was equally impressive—light, fruity, and refreshing with a clean peach flavor that wasn’t overly sweet. It paired perfectly with the heat from the burger and made the whole meal feel complete.
Everything was packed neatly, arrived on time, and tasted just as good as dining in. I’m really glad I gave this combo a try because it’s easily one of my new favorites. Highly recommend ordering from them on DoorDash!"
