"The food was great! We got the triple play, chose snow crab, crawfish and hot peel & eat shrimp, all Louisiana style. It is a great value! The snow crab was some of the best I've had. All of the meat came out without having to dig for it. It was sweet and flavorful. The shrimp were delicious, as were the crawfish. Some of the crawfish were large and worth getting that tidbit of meat out of the claws. It could have been spicier for my taste, and I'm one who actually likes when they sprinkle seasoning on the outside, too. But we always have Old Bay on hand. It also had a generous side of dirty rice in the tray, not sure if this was a mistake but it was very good. No butter or cocktail sauce, but always have butter and cocktail sauce makings. Also got some crawfish etouffee and it was very spicy. Perfect if you love spicy like we do but not for the Cajun food newbie. Besides the spice, it was well seasoned and full of flavor. "Perry's is a local neighborhood place. We used to enjoy going there. Lately it seems to be lacking. This is the second time now we've been disappointed so we probably won't be going back. The tilapia was fine. It was blackened, but just very bland. Not much flavor or seasoning. You could tell it was at the bottom because the portion was much smaller than it used to be; they just made up the difference with additional rice. The filet mignon was probably the most disappointing. For their prices, which are more expensive than other places that taste better, it's disappointing when you get poor quality meat. It was cooked medium rare which was appreciated. It just was not a Filet Perry* | GF quality cut as there was a good amount of sinew that made a majority of it inedible. Probably the worst item was the grilled vegetables for both the fish and the steak. They came literally soaked in grease and were so soggy that nothing was remotely crisp. They literally dripped. I've always found it strange that they don't offer broccoli or green beans for a steakhouse. Maybe they should take some cues from other steakhouses. We went to Texas Roadhouse on Friday and the Dallas fillet with grilled broccoli was on a completely different level than what we just had delivered this evening--not to mention 20% cheaper! "
