First the Oxtail soup was the worst I ever had, $29 for only one tiny oxtail and two poor pieces of tomato floating on the bland soup. The coriander was obviously not fresh at all, it’s yellow and has a weird taste. The whole soup tasted like someone’s leftovers that had been put in the fridge for two whole days, then microwaved in a rush to give to me. Second, the intestine noodles were even worse than a packet of instant noodles. The whole thing had no flavor or taste at all, the noodles mushy and soggy, the peanuts inside were small and sad. The noodles look like they were cooked by using an instant noodle pack but had added too much water to it. Please, if anyone sees this review, walk away from this restaurant, don’t waste your money! "I always order the combination wonton soup when I don't feel like cooking , when it's cold out when I don't feel good when I just don't know what to eat. I've turned on a couple of my kids to this soup and they absolutely love it. The serving size is so generous it always arrives nice and hot has generous amounts of beef, chicken shrimp it never misses if you haven't tried the soup I highly recommend it. I've been ordering a soup for like two years. Now it comes with the equal amount of vegetables reasonably priced even my grandkids love it. It's always fresh. I've never had any complaints about this soup."
"Eh. I read the reviews but taste is subjective. The chow mein was really bland and basically just noodles of cornstarch, it held no flavor. The orange chicken was pretty good though, a little slimy but the portions were very filling and fair for the price. I wouldn't recommend necessarily but it's definitely a considerable option. With that said, there are better places."

"Best Thai food in the city, no contest. I've eaten almost everything on this menu and there's not a single miss. The curries are the best I've had -- the panang and Massaman Curry are my faves. You can tell it's quality because the coconut oil "breaks" from the sauce. This place is legit. The Kwan's Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are deliciously flavored. The tom kha is so fresh and flavorful, it tastes like they grated coconuts to make the coconut milk themselves! The crispy pork is perfection. The khao man gai and the Krapow are homey and comforting. They get the details right -- even down to "simple" things like the Chicken / Pork Satay and the clearly homemade peanut sauce -- the meat is so wildly succulent and tender that it puts other satays you've had to shame. They do not skimp on flavor. I hope people appreciate the care and details that go into making each dish truly spectacular. I dont really write reviews here but Kwan Kitchen is worth gushing about. I've eaten and cooked a lot of Thai food, I've trained under a Michelin-decorated Thai chef. This place blows every Thai spot ive ever eaten at out of the water. "
