The sides were no better: watery mac and cheese and bland mashed potatoes. Portions were tiny. Don’t order this sandwich expecting anything like the picture, it’s a complete letdown. "So this was my first time. On a short trip from Alabama, and ihave to say I have been overwhelmed with sabroso-ness! The Choriperro was one of the best renditions of a hot dog I've ever had. The bun was fluffy but firm, easily able to hold all the condiments on top of a hearty Colombian sausage. The potatoes gave a good crunch to contrast the soft bun, and the sauces gave layered, contrasting flavors that complimented the meat perfectly.
The Cachapa Pollo was another first for me. If I had known how filling it would be, I might have skipped the dog. Expertly cooked (corn masa?) with tender, juicy, flavorful chicken and so much fresh and tasty cheese.
Both dishes were absolutely delicious and very filling, thankfully I had my brother with me to help finish it off! Next time I'm in the area, I 'll be a repeat customer for sure!!"
