"Ive been looking for good nachos for a long time. A little heavy on the chips but other ingredients were great: pico de gallo, beef, sour cream, lettuce, just very good.
Pulled pork sandwich also very good. Not overloaded with spice which is common in Ann Arbor. You could still taste the meat"
"I try to never rate stores badly. But this was awful and absolutely not worth my money. I had no meat on my brisket, only cold pieces of jiggly fat. There was a small amount of fries that were freezing cold and unseasoned. I paid for the truffle fries and they just tasted like wet cold cheese. Absolutely not worth the $12 I paid for the extra side. This place is way too expensive for food that I could get at higher quality at a gas station for a dollar. It was inedible and clearly just thrown together without care. "

"food was great, tasted authentic! order was prepared exactly as requested and they kept my alllergies in mind. the Beef Soup aka caldo de res was awesome! tortillas from the 3 Tacos Meal tasted homemade. awesome! :) "
"I would not recommend this place for value or comforting flavor. I got the 2 Tacos Meal which was $16. That's $16 for two tacos and some beans and rice. It's extra to pick meat for the 2 Tacos Meal, so I tried the frijolitos negros y mushrooms al pastor. The frijolitos were OK, nothing special but nothing bad. The mushrooms seemed to be whole canned mushroom slices marinated with some kind of slimy onion slices. The rice was also weird. I liked the whole peas and carrot cubes, but the rice had a strong Worcestershire flavor, not something I would've expected. Worse, it was served in a pre-portioned plastic tray with small wells for the rice and beans, which means you get less than the customary 4 oz. side portion of each. I would not pickup or order from this place again, especially with all the better options in the area."

"As someone originally from San Diego, I’ve had my fair share of amazing Mexican food, and finding something that compares to the vibrant food culture back home has always been a challenge. That is, until I discovered Taqueria La Marqueza in Ypsilanti, Michigan. This place is, hands down, the best Mexican food in town—and it’s not even close.
The recent renovations have transformed the space into a more comfortable and spacious dining experience, with additional seating available, but it still retains the cozy, authentic vibe that makes it feel like you’re stepping into a local taqueria in Mexico.
If you're a fan of crispy, flavorful tacos, you absolutely must try their Tacos Dorados. These rolled tacos are out of this world—crispy, packed with tender filling, and topped with just the right amount of fresh ingredients and salsas. It's a dish that immediately takes you back to the best taquerias in California.
The Carne Asada Quesadilla is another standout. The meat is perfectly seasoned and grilled, and the cheese is gooey, melty, and indulgent—every bite is packed with flavor. The quesadilla itself is a thing of beauty: not too greasy, just the right amount of crispy, and filled with the perfect balance of ingredients.
What really sets Taqueria La Marqueza apart is the authenticity. Every dish feels like it’s made with care, using quality ingredients and traditional methods that you can taste in every bite. Whether you’re enjoying tacos, quesadillas, or one of their other delicious offerings, you can be sure you're getting the real deal.
The staff is always friendly, and while the restaurant is small, the recently expanded seating area means it’s much more comfortable for dining in. The food is reasonably priced for the quality, and the portions are generous.
If you’re in Ypsilanti and craving authentic Mexican food, Taqueria La Marqueza is a must-visit. It’s not just the best in town—it’s a slice of true Mexican flavor that rivals anything you’d find in Southern California. I can’t recommend it enough!"
"I ordered the torta de asada, an 8-ounce guacamole, and a chicken tamale.
Chicken Tamale: The tamale was a bit dry on the outside, but it was well-salted. I wish it had a little more of a kick because the masa was really the only flavor that came through. The chicken could have used more seasoning or spice to balance everything out.
Guacamole: Unfortunately, the guacamole was disappointing. It was very watery and had a consistency closer to pico de gallo mixed with avocado salsa than traditional guacamole. For the price, you’re probably better off buying premade guacamole from the grocery store.
Torta de Asada: This was easily the highlight of my order! The torta was really good and tasted much closer to authentic Mexican flavors. One thing I’ve noticed at Mexican restaurants farther north is the tendency to incorporate Tex-Mex-style seasonings, so I appreciated that this torta didn’t have that flavor profile. The meat was flavorful, and the torta wasn’t pellejuda (tough or chewy), which was a plus. I was surprised, though, that the salsa wasn’t included. Most taquerias it's normal to provide it with your order, which I thought was the case, but the additional charge is indeed if you want salsa, which I found interesting.
Overall: If you’re craving a good torta, I’d definitely recommend giving this place a try. The torta alone would bring me back, but I’d skip the guacamole next time. The tamale was okay, so if you're really craving it and don't like spice, I'd also recommend!"

"The food is always awesome and filling the Philly Burger is hand made not from premade patties seasoned to protection whit just the right amount of condiments. the Original Philly is made with a perfect balance of everything and just the right amount of food for a nice snack."
"The people cooking up the food here are amazing. I ordered a crispy chicken wrap for pickup, and it was the freshest food I have tasted in a while. Price is great and portions are large. Definitely a hidden gem here in Ann Arbor . The seating area small but very nice, there is also outdoor seating. "

"Overall have been impressed. Orders are correct, food typically arrives warm and is tasty. It seems like the Traditional Wings are getting smaller and smaller, but still satisfying. I enjoy the sweet and heat that comes with a combination of some Asian Zing wings and others with Thai Curry. Try some extra sauce (mango habanero for even more spice!) on the side and use the Everything Pretzel Knots to soak it up alongside the wings!"
"Honestly the seasoning for the dry rub was so inconsistent and they entirely left out the chicken dip we ordered. The wings were small. Definitely will not be ordering here again. You're better off just doing wingstop."

"Finally found Birria Ramen in the area after having for the first time in Colorado last year. AMAZING! The birria taco was packed with cheese and meat. The green salsa was more mild but packed flavor. The red salsa had a kick but wasn't overwhelming. Can't wait to try all the other food."
"The chicken is absolutely outstanding, tender, and full of flavor. The steak is terrible, stringy, chewy, and full of gristle. The tostada is loaded with flavor, but terribly messy to eat. The green sauce has just the right amount of heat. The red sauce is too spicy and very bitter. Three out of five stars."

"Best food presentation goes to you guys you made my food order look so expensive and o my it's delicious too!"
"The meat is so small compared to the picture and you barely get broccoli, it's literally just a spoon scoop. The container has way more space than the food requires and the meat looks tough even though I asked for medium. For $20 this is sad. Wendy's would've did better."

"This is my second day in a row ordering from Temas. Again, I'm a native Texan and am notoriously difficult to please when it comes to Mexican food up here. I've discovered my total jam! The homemade guacamole is incredible. Every entree is delicious and so fresh.Order now!!"
"We eat here regularly and have for years. If you want real authentic Mexican food this is your place.l. I see a lot of folks on here posting bad reviews, saying they didn't like the quesadilla, but I've been going here for several years and have never been disappointed. If you want a quesadilla go to chilis or Taco Bell. Respectfully, this is not that place.
Order tamales-- chicken is my fave, but pork is also great if you like heat. My favorite taco fillings are the potato poblano, chorizo, and chicken, but they are all good. Order a pork popusa. Get the tres leches cake. Charro beans and rice."

"Delicious! I ordered from here twice in a week because of how blown away I was with their fresh ingredients and flavor. Tacos Quesibirria and the Street Corn / Elote Loco are amazing and so flavorful! Everything was great and they got my requests to remove onions and cilantro correct every time. I've already added them to my favorites on dd :)"
"This is my new favorite restaurant and I'm ordering weekly now. The Quesabirria Combo is amazing and so is the Street Corn / Elote Loco. The Pineapple Agua Fresca is huge and fresh. They also write nice messages on each receipt :) even their "off" nights (which everyone has) are still yummy!"

"Ordered arroz con pollo and a side of beans bc I wasn't feeling well and needed some comfort food. It arrived, still warm (despite coming from 7+ miles away), and after one bite i was like THIS IS MANNA FROM HEAVEN. Delicious, super filling, SUPER fresh, and reasonably priced. Y'all are my new favorite restaurant to order from and I can't thank you enough for literally restoring me to full health when I was feeling awful. 5 stars."
"Thank you for always being reliable. 5. One cheese and one beef enchilada, rice and beans is dependable. I always sub the rice for refried beans. The enchilads are fantastic. It is a good portion for your $$ and they are always freshly made and the side sour cream is huge !!"

"Everything was great. These are the best carnitas I think we have had in Ann Arbor. The tamale and the chile rellano were excellent. Beans and rice flavorful. We'll order again but a lot less food! We were sampling and now we'll have another full meal!"
"Pretty flavorless food. bland refried beans. The salsa was like red water. I would not have complained about any of this, but the flan we ordered tasted spoiled. It had the flavor and odor of a dumpster. The tacos were decent and the horchata was fine, but I will not order again."
