"Colombian's Taste is easily one of my favorite restaurants. I've tried many different options from the menu and enjoyed them all! I have a gluten intolerance, but many of the food is naturally gluten-free, which means I have significantly more options than I do elsewhere.
The packaging is also among the best I've ever seen, especially when I order soups like Ajiaco. The plastic wrap around the containers makes a difference in keeping everything sealed well for travel.
Everything is fresh when delivered, textures are maintained well due to packing, everything tastes incredible, and the food is so filling I usually get more than one meal out of it, which makes the price worth it.
The chicarron is always so well made that I need to order it every time, even when I'm trying to mix things up. I can't recommend this restaurant enough!"

The Chips & Salsa had very good crispy and hearty chips, our favorite from our order this time. The Horchata Agua Fresca is very rice forward, and the perfect level of sweetness. Their hot sauce is good and full of flavor. They have more flavor than most Mexican restaurants in the area, but I wish there was more consistency. Also $4 each ($8 total!) for a Side Rice and Side Beans is crazy to have rice and beans with things they don't have "entrees" of, like burritos. And the small portion doesn't make up for the price. "Awful - would give zero stars if possible. The cheese Enchiladas Rancheras were soggy and drowning in liquid, cheese poorly melted - at best, they were frozen and reheated (poorly), at worst they were thrown together and then covered in so much sauce they hoped it wouldn't be noticeable that they weren't actually cooked (zero chance they were cooked before sauce was added). The Guacamole & Chips were a generous portion for sure - but the chips were fried in bad oil, tasted like flour items were fried in the same oil and then oil was left to sour - they were inedible as a result. Literally worst enchiladas I've had in the Chicagoland area. Super disappointing, not sure how this place is rated so highly."

"The food and grill-char flavor is so authentic, especially the salsas..so bomb! I can tell a huge difference with quality here vs other local places. They may be a bit pricy, but trust me it's worth it!
As long as I keep receiving great food, I will continue to leave great reviews. I have to say..since covid, there has been a HUGE discrepancy in quality and care with a lot of restaurants and service. This place is definitely consistent and continues to provide great food. 10/10 every time. Really hope that never changes "
