"I am obsessed with Asaka. I just ordered from them a few days ago and was already ready for another round. I think this is some of the best "hole in the wall" sushi spots in the East Bay. My husbands face lit up when he took his first bite of the 38. Sushi Pizza Roll. The fish is very fresh and it has a beautiful presentation. Asaka is definitely our new go to spot. We can't wait to come visit in person."

"This is what the Chirashi looks like when u get it in store. I was actually very surprised when it came to me at home because I have ordered from several sushi places on DoorDash. They all skimp out on some aspect or mess up the order. I was very impressed with this order from Kansai. The piece sizes were generous and thick. Except for the tuna, the fish was mushy and almost fell apart when biting into it. I don't know if perhaps it had been previously frozen but it was definitely below the usual standard.

"I love a good Lunch Bento Box, the food was great quality. I can tell that they use fresh ingredients. The Lion King roll,Basil chicken and Miso soup were lovely. I do want to add a disclaimer, the house made Ice cream is small for the price point that the store is selling it at. I don't mind paying for something that is made in house. The container is small, I can get a scoop of ice cream that size for about 3 dollars. Pricing something over 8 bucks for such a small quantity,feels like robbery to me. The gyoza is pork (I don't eat), and there was a wild amount of ginger. For the price, any poke place is better. Tuna and crab quality was fine. Quick pickled cucumbers were nice. "There's no 3.5 or else, that's what I would've given it. Pros: roll size pretty big, thick cuts of sashimi and nigiri, fish taste fresh, and reasonable prices. Cons: The Miso Soup soup lacked flavor to me, it really taste like nothing. The Seared Salmon Nigiri with Lemon was missing the lemon. If you're advertising something, it should come as is. Also, the cut of salmon on my Titanic was terrible. So chewy, not good at all! The packaging could be better, they put a blob of wasabi in between the rolls that almost looked like avocado. Just be cautious."

The best order (in my opinion): half sushi rice and half mixed greens, spicy tuna and salmon, all the toppings that you can get for free, and a mix of the black unagi sauce and the siracha aioli. It won't disappoint. Don't bother with the sushi burritos, other restaurants have as much better ones.
However, they are pretty bad about getting your order details wrong (accidentally not adding ingredients, etc.) its also pretty over priced for what it is. But it's healthy and
