"It is really rare that I am actually impressed by a restaurant but this was on a whole nother level. Indian food in southern California is absolutely trash. Literally watered down, soulless, flavorless. It's honestly sad. This is true north Indian treasure. Every spice, every speck of flavor that is supposed to be there shines bright like Surya. Both the Malai Kofta and the Saag Paneer are exceptional, my only gripe with the food itself is that the portions could be slightly larger. It took two entrees to really get me there, if you know what I mean. And the packaging is everything: the ONLY Indian restaurant I have tried in the ENTIRE state of California to use PAPER packaging and not the disgusting black plastic garbage dump that every single other place uses. I am thoroughly amazed. Well done. 10/10"

The chicken soup was super unique and excellent. I loved the lamb samosa but it was just lamb filler - no peas and potatoes. The pickles were great and special. Portions are big and everything was fresh. Not oily or heavy at all.
I would order again if I was craving Indian. I am from the Bay Area so I can't speak to how this compares to other local options. That's also probably why I wasn't quite as impressed."
"Masala Twist's kitchen hits a home run every single time. This is a great local restaurant that offers up GENEROUS portions at a great price, and it is authentic Indian cuisine. The naan slices are large. The diced chicken is always cooked beautifully. The curry sauce is unbelievably rich and uses the perfect blend of spices. The food always arrives well-packaged, and still hot. I am unfortunately moving out of the area in June, and I am really going to miss this place. Anthony Bourdain would have loved your restaurant."
