"I had a late night sweet craving and Ms. Sweets was open. I ordered a slice of red velvet and a slice of tres leches. The red velvet was moist and spongy with a tang of fruit jam. The tres leches was thick with syrup, with fluffy cream on top and a side of fresh raspberries and strawberries. I savored every bite. "This was a pickup order that was a total waste of time and money. The store was slammed, disorganized, and my order was handled very unprofessionally.
I waited at the empty DoorDash counter for about 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged me, then was told they had “unplugged” DoorDash and needed to see my phone, making me go back to my car and wait again. After all that, my food came out late, room temperature, and clearly not freshly made. The bagel dog was embarrassingly skimpy, the bagels were not toasted, there was barely any honey butter, and everything tasted off compared with how this place used to be.
This was my second bad experience in a row with the same order, after previously being told through a locked door that they were sold out and to “take it up with DoorDash” even though I’d already been charged. Between both visits I’m out around $80, the iced coffee was basically just ice with a little coffee, and every corner that could be cut was. After coming here since childhood, it hurts to say it, but I will not be returning"
