That being said, they didn't hold back on the filling of meat. If anything, it was the cheese that was lacking. There were four tacos for my order, and it came with more than enough cilantro and diced onions plus a lime wedge per taco. The consomme was pretty good, not greasy nor too watery. If it had some hominy and tripe, it would be menudo's cousin. I drank down any remaining bit of it at the end of my meal. "Ordered 6 tacos total, 3 asada and 3 lengua. They were good, but nothing that really stood out. The prices are okay, although almost $4 per taco and close to $5 for the lengua is a little on the expensive side.
The chipotle salsa was pretty mid. It wasn’t spicy and didn’t have much flavor. The green salsa was much better with good flavor and a little kick.
If you’re a lengua taco fan like me, just know they serve it sliced instead of chopped. I personally prefer chopped, but that’s just a preference.
Overall, it’s a decent spot for tacos. I’d come back if I was in the area, but it’s not somewhere I’d go out of my way for."
