So delicate that even children would be okay to eat it. The Queso Blanco is your basic cheese dip though on the watery side. If it were thicker, it would have a better flavor. Overall, this is extremely watered down, Americanized Mexican food. No spice. No seasoning. No flavor. Edible but not appealing to a true Mexican food lover."

"I've been trying to find menudo I like in modern Wichita after a few recommendations turning out badly, and I might've finally found a stalwart (on a Tuesday, no less!). This is 32 ounces of hominy-free red Menudo with a nice variety of tripe and a clean-tasting broth. It comes with your choice of bread or tortillas. I opted for bread tonight and was a little disappointed when I saw that it was just lightly toasted slices of French bread, but it held up well as an accompaniment. It also came with a baggie of oregano, diced onion, cilantro, and half a lime to garnish and customize, but there was no salsa or chiles included to spice it up further. I did add salt to taste, got heavy handed with the accoutrements the way I always do, and really enjoyed it. I'll definitely be ordering it again.
I also tried the Enchladas Michoacanas since I've taken some bad gambles on menudo. Having eaten (and cooked) countless plates of enchiladas michoacanas, I can attest to the slight variability between regions of the state and households, but again was quite pleasantly surprised and another craving was satisfied. If you're unfamiliar with the style, they're made by frying corn tortillas in a flavorful but mild guajillo chile salsa, then filled with cheese and served topped with potatoes and carrots, raw onions and lettuce, crema or sour cream, and sometimes additional cheese. All of it was AMAZING! The tacos have become part of my weekly lunch routine. They are fried to the perfect crispness and the queso is the perfect consistency, not too thick and not too thin. Their salsa is somewhere between chunky and not, which I LOVE! This is the only dish I've ordered from here, and with that in mind I would say their menu is more tex-mex/americanized style than authentic Mexican food. However that is NOT a complaint! If I had to choose something to complain about, it would be that there isn't an option to add an additional flour fried taco to a plate. I totally understand not offering the item a la carte because driving sales is important to any business, but if I had the ability to choose a plate with 2 or 3 or 4 tacos, I would choose to order 3 or 4."
