"I never leave reviews but had to go out of my way for this one. I just moved to Charleston last week and this is my second time ordering this place - amazing both times. First off, of course, the food is great. I've gotten the hibachi chicken, chicken Fried Rice, and their sushi so far. Portions are huge - they do not skimp on the protein or rice at all. They all taste great and you can easily tell how high quality everything is. On top of that, you can tell they actually care in that kitchen. They package generous amounts of yum yum sauce with utensils, napkins, chopsticks, everything you would need, nicely wrapped in plastic. I DoorDash multiple times a week and the amount of places that consistently do this are basically nonexistent - small efforts like this go such a long way and for that they are so well deserving of this review. Props to you guys. Definitely have a consistent customer out of me!"

This place didn't do that. I didn't taste anything special about it that made me want to run and tell people. Even the sausage in it lacked seasoning. Also, I only got 1 piece of shrimp, which was crazy for a shrimp n grits dish. They put more sausage pieces than shrimp. This was my first time trying this place, and I don't want to base their restaurant off of one order, so I'll order from them again in the future. We ordered takeout earlier this week and it was so good we had to come back in person a few days later. On that visit, we all ordered the Dirty South pizza, a burger with fries, and the mini corn dogs, and everything was just as impressive. It came out hot, crispy, and fresh, with plenty of their amazing sauces. Honestly, we were blown away.
That experience alone would’ve been enough, but going in person sealed it. We were greeted right away by a super friendly staff, and our server was incredibly helpful. We started with the fried dough dip plate and then got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich. When we came back, my wife ordered the burger and fries again and it was dynamite all over again. Consistency like that says a lot.
Everything came out quickly, tasted incredible, and the whole team was so accommodating and genuinely welcoming, creating a really family-friendly atmosphere.
The vibe is awesome too. Laid-back, great music, plenty of space, and a really cool rock-and-roll garage aesthetic. You can tell the staff enjoys being there, which makes a huge difference.
And I have to mention the drinks. The dirty sodas, especially the vanilla Coke, are dangerously good. The kind of thing you could absolutely get hooked on.
And somehow, on top of all that, the prices are more than fair. It’s such a refreshing break from the overpriced downtown spots.
