"Tried this place for the first time recently. I ordered 3 tacos with carne asada, the esquites and the mangonada. The esquites on its own is a 5/5 for me, I love the combination of savoriness and tanginess. I could've enjoyed it even a bit spicier but it didn't really need it because it was already so flavorful. The tacos were pretty good but I think I would've liked another choice of protein better. I'll have to try again another time but right now I'd give the tacos I had about a 3.9/5; I really liked the veggies and the salsa, above average taco but not the best I've ever had. Lastly, the mangonada was also a 5/5 for me, excellent balance of sweet, sour and spicy. Not everyone may like that combination of flavors but for me it was very good and you can tell it's very fresh. "the sesame chicken was okay. it's a hole in the wall version of an Americanized Chinese dish, so you can't really expect that much from it. but it was basically over sweet with no noticeable sesame flavor. the pepper steak was bland, the steak was mushy and had no texture, and had very little meat. that doesn't generally bother me, but considering what they were charging for the dish I really expected more. the fried rice was absolutely horrible. it was exactly that. rice that had been fried. if You're expecting egg, vegetables, seasoning of any sort, forget about it. you don't get that. it's just a vaguely Brown pile of mushy rice with nothing much to recommend it. the best part of the meal, quite frankly was the egg rolls, which were nicely crispy and had a good filling. but they were extremely greasy.

They absolutely refuse to change the oil that they fry food in and as a result the food often is overcooked and taste like burnt oil. The good side is the portions are good and the menu is plentiful and for a reasonable price.
