"Omg this was my first time ordering from Sato and it was so good!!! The ramen was made exactly the way I wanted it to be! The pork chashu was so tasty and the noodles are really good!! I would definitely recommend and they definitely accommodate for any thing you don't want in the ramen (ex: egg, bean sprouts, nori (yes I am super picky)).

No teriyaki sauce that I have ever had has had such a huge amount of pepper on it. We also ordered sushi, but we requested that the seaweed be put on the outside and so we were given five pieces instead of the usual six pieces in a normal cut roll and that was because we wanted the seaweed on the outside! That was just plain weird! Dinner was over $80 for three people, and it was a complete waste of money and a very big disappointment for dinner."

"I love this place more than any other ramen restaurant in California!! It's a small hole in the wall spot but their food is absolutely top notch in quality, taste and their service is exemplary. Their noodles are always so flavorful and their Chashu is deliciously cooked as well. I especially like their Black tonkotsu ramen because they do not put too much black garlic sauce in it! "I have been to this restaurant many times in person and have always enjoyed it so I did not anticipate there being so many issues with the order. My first minor issue was that I ordered 2 dishes with corn added, was charged for the added corn, and no corn was received. The amount of broth provided for each bowl was extremely nominal, they do not even fill the to-go containers they are stored in. I order milk tea as well for our order, and then was called by support and told that the price was incorrect through door dash and if I wanted the tea I would need to approve an additional charge. While our Dasher was extremely friendly, I will not be ordering takeout/delivery from this location again. "

"Truly, the worst supposedly Japanese restaurant I have ever experienced. The three items I ordered were virtually inedible and had to be thrown out. Most frustrating was the picture of the Japanese fried chicken, which appears to be actual pieces of fried chicken as in breast, thighs, etc. However what came were  inedible, tough tiny pieces of what appear to be rejects from the bottom of a chicken McNugget storage bin. The rice dish was just that, and being 98% stale rice topped with literally two or three pieces of my ordered proteins. The beef was tough, and the shrimp was rancid.  I strongly recommend to avoid this restaurant at all costs. What's even more exasperating is they are one of the most expensive Japanese restaurants in Los Angeles and as I said the absolute worst"
