"I should have sixteen reviews on Pho Gabo I order it so much. My absolute favorite Pho in the PDX area! The broth is perfect and flavorful, and they send the rare flank steak so you can cook it yourself. One big tip: I would highly recommend bringing to the broth up to a quick boil at home so you can serve it piping hot - makes it feel like you're at the restaurant. Pho Gabo also has the widest selection of toppings - and my favorite the fatty flank (many restaurants don't carry it anymore, and I love it - it's kind of an unfortunate name because people not familiar with it aren't going to order it but it's so delicious).

"The 48 hour bone broth pho was delicious! That being said, when our order was delivered, we opened up the packaging to find barely a tablespoon of beef in each of our pho meals (no exaggeration either!) and not a whole lot of noodles either. And paying nearly $17 for each bowl of this yummy pho, I am a little bummed out that this restaurant skimped on the beef (which there is no denying that they did). Because without the beef in this dish, your just getting noodles, a handful of bean sprouts, a pinch of onions and some basil leaves. They need to add more sustenance to this delicious dish to make it worth the price they are asking. "
"Normally I love Butterfly Belly, I'm not sure if they were just having an off night or what, but my concerns started when the dasher messaged me they had to wait an extra half an hour to pick up the food because the server was playing guitar instead of tending to customers, seating people acknowledging he was there, etc.
When we got the food, they packaged it so poorly that the Thai tea had exploded all over the items in the bag & soaked everything in tea, making it inedible. Even if that hadn't happened, the food itself was nowhere near the quality it usually is. There was hardly any meat in anything, the lettuce wrap mix was mostly just onions & grease. There was no sauce at all in the vermicelli, and the egg rolls were dripping in grease.
I don't know what changed, I've never had this experience before at Butterfly Belly, it was extremely disappointing. This has long been one of my favorite restaurants in Portland, so i don't know if this was just an off night, but I really hope they can figure out what happened and address these issues in the future. "

"Carlos the chef, did such a nice job! Food was excellent, tasty, and moist.
The only comment I gave was there was Broccoli in the tom yum soup which I've never had before, I think the broccoli has such a distinct flavor it didn't go well with the soup.
That being said, it still tasted good and broccoli is super healthy. But next time I'll order this soup w/o it.

"CM Banh mi never disappoints. Their wonton soup is a prime example of how something so simple can be so sublime. Today's banh mi: grilled pork with extra pate had to be one of my favorites, although the house special is also wonderful. Have not tried their teas because I don't do sugar, but they look great. "I finally ordered correctly, last few times I kept accidentally ordering the pork meatball bahn mi (not of fan of it, prefer it as pho rather than sandwich) and meant to order the grilled pork bahn mi. It's the perfect bahn mi when I pay for extra meat and also pay to add the pate spread, soooo good! And you will never regret getting any of their dumplings, I always get one of them when I order. Hard to say which is my fave, the sweet and tangy remind me of eating a Filipino lumpia with the sweet chili sauce (YUM) and the chili oil one has just enough of a kick to keep you wanting more. I get the wonton soup when I want something warm, it's literally wonton in broth no veges of the sort added to it but they are pretty generous on the amount of wontons they add in. Will continue to order here, I'm a fan! "

"The Vegan Shanghai Rice Cakes are the best! The rice cakes are nice and chewy, not too salty, and light on the soy sauce. Sometimes I get with chicken or pork and other times I add whatever meatinhave at home. Do be aware though that this dish should be eaten the sameday as the rice cakes tend to go hard the next day & stick to each other.
