"Well..... eating Captain D's at home vs in the restaurant are two very different experiences. There's something about warm food traveling inside a styrofoam container has a less than ideal affect on the fish. It's not the same texture and almost not the same taste. The baked potato tasted good but all the yummy cheese and bacon bits had melted down into the folded sheets of aluminum foil that was there to keep it warm. I had to fish out foil from the potato and all the melted cheese from in between the folds of foil. Ehhh.
All I'm saying is I much prefer to eat in their restaurant and have it delivered to the house.
I also ordered a large sweet tea and a large lemonade but ended up with two large sweet teas. So much for my Arnold Palmer.
It's only fair that I include that in spite of everything I mentioned above, I cleaned my plate and even ate both hush puppies!! I was hungry!!

The only real issue I had was that the Turkey Bacon Ranch Sandwich was missing BACON. I mean, that shouldn't be hard to double-check while making it. I don't expect my dasher to dig through my sandwiches for those things. I tried to contact support for 2 days and gave up, which makes me think I should reconsider using this service.
Overall it was tasty and mostly packed well. The side of broccoli bliss that I ordered was basically the tiny size of a sauce or dressing cup others serve. It's a shame, because it tastes good just not worth the price. "

"very tiny portions bought two thinking I could feed myself and my boyfriend. it's just a snack for the both of us. The Croissant, Applewood Smoked Bacon Egg, & Cheese was dried and stuck to rap. I am unable to get bits of paper off of it, Croissant, Sausage, Egg, & Cheese looks like it's made out of a pre-packaged egg slice. Hazelnut Milano (16 oz) does not have any foam milk."

" Food was great & they even baked new rolls for my order! She apologized for a slight delay, but it was worth the wait! I will be ordering from here again, because it was packaged well, fresh and no missing or wrong items!
They well-packaged everything individually, so there were no spills. Also, it could easily be checked on the table they provided.
I ordered the club sandwich, which was put into halves, wrapped separately and then placed in it's box. I can easily save that other half & eat it later. The sandwich was also large, which most places have adjusted. This makes me want to order it here again! Also, it was awesome... fresh & filling! The temps were still perfect for cold and hot items, bacon and veggies were crunchy and bread was just right for the sandwich! I may have a new favorite! They even put the sauce on the side instead of "no sauce". It's the little things that keep me coming back. Most places charge extra now and I never have enough sauce/dressing for the food or to keep if I'm saving something for later.
I have not been ordering from these big national chains, due to prices going up and food portions going down, with fuel surcharges and increased service fees... However, I had a discount code and after this experience I will be back! They also have a lot of incentives for orders placed with the restaurant and not through other services.

"Shrimp were fresh and tasted good. The only problem a price of $16 gets you 8 shrimp. They are nice size but for the price I would expect a few more. This may be a door dash thing. Price may be cheaper if you go in to the restaurant. "
"I was definitely not satisfied with my order. The picture that showed me what I was ordering was very misleading. The first picture is directly from the restaurants Door Dash site. It clearly says Catfish filets. The second picture is what I ordered. The catfish are not filets. They look like the size of a chicken tender. I brought this to the attention of the manager. He did agree with me about the misleading picture and food I received. He rectified the situation by cooking 3 additional Catfish pieces, which were just a bigger size but not a filet. The other items I received were fries (which was soggy) and coleslaw (which tasted sour). I personally would not order here again. However if anyone does, I would suggest checking and/or tasting your food before you leave the restaurant. I would've been even more upset once I got home to see what I received."
