"This is the best Indian food I've had recently. I've been 4 times i n the past month and have delighted in the recommendations by our waiter/owner "Sam" (not his Indian name, but the one he allows for slow-to-catch -on Americans) have always been on point. Be careful, Southern Indian food is very spicy, so I would recommend asking for mild, even for Louisiana natives. I love the seasoning of the South Indian dishes, though. They may be one of the few, if not the only restaurant in BR serving them. I found the cream dishes a little sweet for my tastes, but I don't each much sugar, so others may appreciate.
