"I have eaten here for decades. Since ownership changed, I have ordered 10-15 times. Something is off. The food is not the same. Tiny changes, maybe. But they add up changing the decades long consistent quality that we came to rely on. Season salt seems different , They cook with more pepper than they use to, lettuce is chopped bigger making it weird to eat, tomatoes and onions seem to have a different flavor. Now it is a place that is not special anymore. All the small changes combined affected taste and quality. Sad to say, another childhood memory is forever gone. Customers all kept asking new owner not to change anything, but my taste buds say otherwise :("

Of course the side of fries with the Tenders and the Large French Fries ($9+) were overcooked. total waste of money there. and the two cans of bubly™ Lime Sparkling Water ($8+ ) wasn't actually sold at this location yet, so they substituted them for fountain drinks. That was a nice gesture, but the fact that I was buying the sparkling water for someone who is on a low sodium diet, I would have rather they just refunded them like it was requested in the order. I guess you can't win them all, because I've ordered food from this place years ago and it was fabulous. They tried at least. "I was a huge fan of GotBurger for many years, so I was very excited to hear they had rebranded as Shawarmix and was eager to try their food again. Thankfully, the Mozzarella Sticks and Onion Rings tasted exactly as I remembered. My main disappointment was with the Mushroom Burger , which was always my go-to order at GotBurger. While the burger itself was fine, something was noticeably different. The beef had a tougher texture, and the classic GotBurger seasoning seemed to be missing. I can’t pinpoint exactly what changed, but the burger definitely didn’t have the same quality or flavor that I was always fond of. My recommendation to the new Shawarmix/GotBurger management would be to bring back whatever brand of ground beef and seasoning were used previously at GotBurger. If those two things can be restored, I think Shawarmix will have no problem living up to its beloved predecessor."
